Christians often use scientific evidence to back up their claims saying that history and science has proven parts of the Bible to be correct. They use thsi evidence trying to convert people, but when anything bad from the Bible is mentioned, they come out and say that the Bible is not Christianity, Christianity is having a personal relationship with Jesus or God or whoever it is they worship.
So which is it? Is the Bible correct, or is the personal relationship with Jesus correct, because they cannot both be?

The Bible speaks about God killing 42 children by having bears attack them, and encourages the "dashing" of children across rocks, and it is ALL CORRECT???

I read a book from the Jehovah's Witnesses once about how to prothelitize to different groups of people.
To prothelitize to Christians it suggested that you point out that Jehovah's witnesses are a branch of Christianity they just accept the teachingings of the latest Prophet and that the core beliefs of their church and the Christian church are nearly identical.
To Prothelitize to members of "Alternative or Eastern religions" it suggested that you should remember that many members of these religions have a negative view of or have been persecuted by Christianity. It's important that you stress that we have no affiliation with Christianity in any way and that we are not Christians.
It left me scratching my head. How could anyone actively belong to a religion that sends you out to convert people and tells you to actively misrepresent your religion to some of them in order to convert them?
And how stupid do you have to be to leave the book that explains this in the house of someone you're trying to convert?

Science doesn't prove the Bible. The Bible proves science. Silly boy, don't you understand anything? The Bible usually said it first and then science comes along and supports the truth.
What is your source of Christian information about bad things happening? Even Jesus said there will be wars and rumors of wars and all sorts of bad nasty things happen in the future.
It's all true. The world isn't a bed of roses and people still do bad things to people. So get over it and try doing something to alleviate the problem instead of bashing those poor Christians that aren't perfect, just forgiven. At least they are trying to make a difference for the better. More than I can say for you.
You go Christians!

Jesus Christ the Lord gives you free will. Heaven is an individual accomplishment so the belief in a personal relationship is correct and the Bible is correct both.

I am a Christian Pastor.
I have, as does my wife and daughter, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Bible, all of it, is the Word of God and therefore is accurate and true.

What it means is this:
People will seek to use a line of logic to prove their point.
Evolutionists, for example, to continue to prove their religion, are constantly "discovering" new bones because the old bones have been proven to be hoaxes or jokes or inexact science.

If one follows the bible instead of the teachings of Jesus, they are not a 'Christ'ian no matter how much they insist they are.
