Why do guys deny paternity knowing a child is theirs and why are they afraid of becoming fathers?

They don't want the responsibility of the expenses that go with it. It doesn't meet with the dreams of being able to have the money to do the things they want to do. This is one of the reasons people should not have sex before marriage. Too many children are growing up without fathers and studies have shown that these are the children that get into the most trouble as teens. Keep your body pure for the one that you choose to spend the rest of your live with. A pure body is an excellent wedding present to give your husband/wife on your wedding night.

These days....Child Support. Family stability has gone out the door now-a-days. Maybe have him take a paternity test before signing papers just to ease his mind,which is understandable sometimes and that would consolidate his feelings of a responsibility. I think hospitals should automatically give paternity tests at births of children.

most of them dont want to step up to the plate, they still want to hang out and spend money on b/s. then the key word in your ? BECOMING FATHERS. Sometimes it's all a bit too overwhleming for some guys and the 1st thing that comes to mind is deny paternity and or run away.

They are cowards and do not have the moral upbringing to do what is right. The trouble is if the women are willing to sleep out of a committed married relationship they are playing Russian roulette with their lives.

The guys are wrong and so are the women that boink them!

Don't want the responsibility, scared, all the above..they want to have their cake and eat it too..Didn't want to be a daddy in the first place, If you noticed, they are still kids themselves in alot of ways. they still like they cartoons, eat apple jacks in big humongus bowls, and still think that they parents are supposed to take care of them, buy them feed them the whole 9 yards...Only time when they say they are a man is when they're having sex..they wanted get it and go..I wouldn't say that they are afraid of child support, because if they were afraid then they would own up to their responsibilities as man, why should the law step in and make them do what's right..

because they are only kids themselves my husband acts more childish then the kids lol theyre scared and some men are just plain mean my ex denied paternity of our 2 kids just to piss me off he liked getting the reaction out of me i think everyone is afraid to have kids hell i still am lol i have 2 and one on the way paternity test if the babys his hell have to pay for it if not you will and wont be able to receive state assistance for the baby i know how you feel girl dont let him get to you thats what he wants i know its hard try some counseling they can help you work through your anger and frustration and may be able to help you get the test and everything worked out good luck to you girl

The one you're describing is, though. My dad got my mom pregnant before they knew eachother well and he married her, so not all men are like that.

I think it's REALLY REALLY important to get to know a guy and make sure he is a REAL MAN before having sex with him let alone allowing him to impregnate you!!!! Then you would know that he isn't going to be afraid to be a father and deny the child is his.

I'm a man and I owe to my child and care for my wife. But it happens in marriage.
If your involve in act before marriage its mere fun for both of you, why blame man for this?
And dear, there is no commitment in this relation its just,friendship- fun & enjoyment. But if you don't take extra precaution to avoid pregancy it's your fault ( No compromise if man force you to avoid such contraceptives) as a man I say you don't belive him.Because its you who has to carry the burden, so your selection for Mr.Right should be perfect. As in this society I don't say there are no lusty pigs around from whom you have to be careful.Don't profane the whole manhood afterall with whom woman will go along.

paternity shows who the father is. some guys want to know, but many young fathers are affraid of being a father or are too irrisponsible to except they are. they want the cake, but not the frosting.

boys mature slower than girls, so the thought of having a baby and having to grow up just kills them. guys also tend to think that all women are sluts and will sleep with anybody when they're drunk. Besides girls would probably deny that the babies are theirs if only they could
