I don't understand how people can cheat, when I even think about it it makes me sick. I did try once to get my ex back and I litterally got sick I couldn't do it. How are people able to cheat I don't get it?

People, both male and female, get their conscience seared, become hard and cold, then cheat. They justify it with, he don't show me attention, or she don't give me what I need. My thinking is, get a divorce, but don't cheat. Faithfulness is not a fault! It's a wonderful attribute to have.

The reason why you could not do it is because of the level of trust that you once had for him has been compromised by his betrayal. that is essentially what cheating is, BETRAYAL!! until you talk to him and he fully explains to you why he did what he did, then you will never be able to completely forgive him. ANYWAY, now that i think about it, why were you trying to get him back? he should have been the one who was trying to win you over. he is not deserving of the kind of loyality that you posess. but the answer to your question, people cheat because they are confused about what they really want and what is important in life. true love, loyality, caring, sharing, etc. is what constitutes a good relationship and it also includes the good and the bad of it. people who cheat are looking for those quick fixes and instant gratification. you don't always get that in a meaniful relationship, it take work and dedication. those people are not willing to put in the work. so in closing, don't stress yourself on the cheaters, just continue to be who you are and that extra special someone will come along and be what you need them to be in your life.

Sometimes things aren't what they seem to be...If you've been married for a long time and sick of hearing the same old crap about the same old problems about what you did before you got married and how he wants to know how it feels to screw someone else and making you feel smaller each and everyday....then it's time to move on. Some people stay in thier marriage while trying to move on. And feel the waters before they leap. Sooner or later the damn will have to break.

I certainly don't think that being honest and loyal is a fault. I don't understand how people can cheat either; it's disrespectful and hurtful.
