It does taste better, but what is their reason behind it?

It's a lighter oil and suppose to be healthier.

I think you answered your own question! It definitely tastes better, and the more virgin you get, the better it tastes. Add some garlic to it and it is definitely work writing home about. Vegetable oil just doesn't cut the mustard

It tastes way better as you already said, except maybe sesame oil is better sometimes for flavor I think.

Also, becase its really good for you too. Its not as light as safflower or sunfower oil but has oleic acid which is VERY good for you. Always add turmeric, ginger and garlic whenever you can cuz its very good for your nerves.

It is much better for you, along with tasting better. EVOO=Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

it's healthier and it taste better, I don't use vegetable oil for anything unless I am going to use the deep-frier

for the flavor, AND for the health benefits. olive oil has antioxidants in it which helps the immune system.

THEY say its better 4 you. AND ITS NOT BAD TASTING as well. ITS great in Italian cooking.
