There is nowhere else to go but Home (heaven)...hell is a misconception...it is actually the here & now...Earth is the most negative place to have a lifetime, tho it allows the greatest opportunity for the spirit to grow the most, the quickest way possible.

The hell talked about in the Bible is only the grave so it would be hell. The book of Revelations 14:1 says, "IAnd I looked and lo, a lamb stood on mount Sion, and with him a hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written on their foreheads." These 144,000 are the only ones that will go to heaven and they were "bought from the earth" (Rev. 14:3) They will rule with Christ over the Earth (God's Kingdom) just like we have a government now but with regular men. This will happen when God wipes out all badness from the Earth in his own due time. Oh yeah Job prayed at Job 14:13 to go to hell (grave) because of the pain he was in burning forever would have been worse that what he was going through and the scriptures also say concerning the people who made their sons and daughters pass through the fire for a sacrafice..that this sort of thing NEVER came up ionto the heart of God to do such a thing. If you as a loving parent wanted to punish your child for wrong doing would you hold his hand over a fire and leave it there? God is much more loving than us ....so NO he doesn't punish us by burning us in fire forever. whe we die we are aquitted of our sins. Death is the punishment, but there is a promise of a ressurection.

Neither.
No man has gone to heaven except the Son of man (John 3:13).
No one has gone to the traditional ever burning hell fire.

People often forget they have brains when it comes to a topic such as hell. Oh, many persons will ponder on financial or other matters, but when hell is the subject they seem to prefer that someone else do the thinking. They may even push all hope of reasoning aside and declare, as one hell-fire believer did, that if he did not think the Bible taught a literal, red-hot, soul-scorching hell he would throw his Bible into the ash can. That is an extreme case. But it reflects a modern-day tendency to try to make God conform to man’s ideas of how things should be run.
Pagan religions are noted for teaching red-hot hells. The ancient Egyptians, Babylonians, Phoenicians, Persians, Grecians and Hindus taught flaming hells. The Buddhists teach a hell wherein people cook and sizzle in blazing kettles. Is the Bible hell as hot as the pagans paint theirs? The answer is NO.
This raises the question: Did Almighty God create such a place of torment? Well, what was God’s view when the Israelites, following the example of peoples who lived nearby, began to burn their children in fire? He explains in his Word: “They have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, in order to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, a thing that I had not commanded and that had not come up into my heart.”—Jeremiah 7:31.
Think about this. If the idea of roasting people in fire had never come into God’s heart, does it seem reasonable that he created a fiery hell for those who do not serve him? The Bible says, “God is love.” (1 John 4:8) Would a loving God really torment people forever? Would you do so? Knowing of God’s love should move us to turn to his Word to find out just what hell is.

There is a verse in the bible that says something along the lines of the road to hell being wide, and the road to heaven being narrow.
It basically meant, yes, there will be more poeple going to hell than there will be going to heaven.
As for who is going where, that is not our area to judge.

Jesus said, ""Go in through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road is spacious that leads to destruction, and many people are entering by it. How narrow is the gate and how constricted is the road that leads to life, and few are the people who find it!" (Matthew 7:13-14)
Therefore, more will go to hell than heaven. Unfortunate, but true.

The Bible says, Broard is the way that leads to destruction, and narrow is the way that leads to heaven, but few there be that find it.
Everyone at some point thinks about their own immortality, and we each one have to face death one day. People prepare for retirement, but most people fail to prepare for eternity. Most people think they will go with opinion of the majority, and that will make them safe, but when one is faced with their own death it is often a very different matter.
Recently, someone I knew who had terminal cancer at the age of 46 was in his own words 'terrified' of dying and being dead. This is how most people would react if faced with a simular situation. Yet, most people still fail to prepare for eternity.
John's Gospel Chapter 3 v 16 says "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
If you trust Jesus Christ to be Your Saviour and Lord, if you are sorry for all the wrong doing (a genuinly heartfelt grief of your wrong doing), and ask God to forgive you, then You will be saved.
God sent His Son Jesus to die a terrible death on the cross, to pay the penalty for your sin and mine. He paid our debt in full. All we have to do is to ask Him to forgive us and save us, and He will. You will then be assured a place in heaven.
Where will you spend eternity?
You will spend it somewhere!
There is a heaven to gain, and a hell to shun!
