bored and have no idea of what to cook, i have to cook for three. something simple would be nice, but time isn't a problem so lay it on me! what should i attempt to cook?

If you're desparate for something to eat get mac and cheese or something. When in doubt, find a cookbook and flip through the pages until you get to something that sounds tasty.

Baked chicken. It is very simple and cheap. I buy chicken leg quarters, and place them on a broiler pan. I cover the chicken in seasoning, and sometimes bbq sauce. Then, I add water to the pan. I cook at 355 for 50 minutes.

My family is have roast beef with carrots, onions and celery in a mushroom sauce along with fried cabbage, butter beans and corn bread.
