I recently canned some yellow squash with onions and am trying to find a good recipe for a squash casserole dish. Any suggestions?

I've honestly never heard of canned squash.

Put half box prepared Stove top in bottom of casserole. cover with squash and onions. Mix a can of cream of mushroom and 1/2 cup of milk and pour over squash. Sprinkle the other half of stuffing over the top and add shredded cheese if you want. Bake at 350* for 45 minutes.

I think that some beef or chicken cut up small with the squash and onions on it would bake nicely. Maybe put grated cheese on it or some brown sugar. Cook it for an hour or so. Some precooked rice and a can of beans would work well and or salsa and crushed tomatoes. Just make nice layers of stuff. Spices, salt and pepper to taste.

If you have some tomatoes handy, then mix them all together, with some oregano ,salt, pepper, and butter. Put them in a cassserole dish and bake, covered @ 350 for 20 min. or until heated thru. This goes well over rice.

Uh, I don't know....and I don't know if I'd want to know. That sounds like something that would be eaten on 'Fear Factor'....

Good luck
