inteligent design requires theistic evolution for it to stand.
so gods process requires satans process?

I have a suggestion. Have them infect you with TB -- the strain present in 2006 -- and then treat you with the drugs used effectively to treat TB in 1950.
WARNING You will die, whether you believe it or not -- because TB has evolved since 1950.
By the same token, where do you think SARS, HIV, Invasive Streph and Ebola came from? They all evolved out of other micro-organisms.
And as for humans -- you run right over to the geneticists and tell them that the gene strain that has emerged that is dominant and causes people to be born with six fingered hands doesn't exist and won't make everyone six fingered in 10 or 20 thousand years -- because evolution doesn't exist.
We are all transition species.
You are a transition species.
Evolution, as shown above, goes on every day.
Damien -- interesting post and I'm sure you meant well -- start with what is mentioned above, then read up on experiments done emulating conditions on early earth -- sorry to tell you this, but precursors to life (like amino acid chains) pop up spontaneously. There is some emerging consensus that there may be a natural paradigm toward life on rocky planets with water within the so called "green zone." What is certainly true is that under the correct conditions the building blocks of life emerge spontaneously. Once you know that those building blocks can emerge -- the rest is simply a matter of time. I have listed a website below that will give you a better understanding of evolutionary theory than you now have. I also suggest that to understand how the first cells came about -- you read "The Cell: Evolution of the First Organism" by Joseph Panno Ph.D.

Creation vs. the Big Bang and Evolution
- It really doesn’t matter if you support the big Bang theory or not, just like evolution, maybe those theory’s are true, maybe not, I really don’t know. Personally I don’t think either the big bang or evolutions are what really happened, but what I think really doesn’t matter.
- Did the big Bang happen or not? Either way God created all that exists, the heavens and the earth, and all on it. Maybe the big bang really happened, if so what was the small particle that expanded into all this, where it came from. The laws of physics say “mater cannot be created or destroyed”, and you say we came from nowhere? That doesn’t hold up very well, but accepting the fact that God created the universe is outside the laws of physics, which is where you must be to cause any mater to come into existence, even one particle.
- About evolution, the bible does not mention this, not because it did not happen, but because it does not affect out salvation. I personally do not believe the theory of evolution, but that’s because I have studied it myself and it doesn’t hold up. But I could be wrong, maybe it is what happened. But why does it matter, it’s a THERY, (not a proven fact), Darwin did not even fully believe this theory.
- I am just tired of hearing people at my church (and other Christians) arguing with atheists about these two topics, it doesn’t even matter. Where is it in the bible that specifically says god did not make animals that can change over time, or specifically how he created the universe, it doesn’t, because it doesn’t matter to our salvation, which is what the bible is about.

Obviously you don't know what you are talking about in either theism, evolution, intelligent design. or for that matter Satan.
Let get the terminology strait. God reveals, man observes: Revelation verse Scientific method. Theism, Satan, Intelligent Design are beliefs. Evolution is a scientific theory (note the word theory) that tries to explain facts (man observations).
We live in an environment where we received revelation (Gods words spoken by his prophets) and science (where man has observed the world around him).
Revelation requires faith/believing (one Greek word that requires two concepts). There is no proof or logic that man can observed. For example, God is spirit (wind). Man can not observe God, but only can believe his words.
On the other hand, all science is built on the scientific method, theories that explain facts. God is not a fact, nor is Satan, nor is intelligent design: These are all revealed and require faith.
Science can not proof or disproof the existence of God: Why? Because proofs require observation and man can not see God.
So to your question (or was that a statement): The only fool is you because you do not know the difference between theology nor science. Got it?

Theistic evolution IS intelligent design; it just says that God used evolution to make the world the way it is.

Actually you are simply evidence that both notions are ridiculous. Fanatical and boorish rantings and ravings find themselves here yet again and no words of real truth like:
How are you doing? Do you have a problem that maybe we can help you with? Is there some love or humanity in anything said by this ignorance -no not really.
Personally I challenge people to look deep inside themselves and ask themselves why they need so desperatly to put other people's sacred thoughts down. It does not hurt anyone.

See now I don't know why everyone has to get ugly on this. I will confess I am a total atheist but I have nothing against religon. I believe in the theory of evolution, and I believe in the big bang theory, but as far as science can take us they can't tell us how the 'Bang!' started, there is still room for God there... if you choose to believe.

Wow, so Satan is correct and God is completely mistaken?
So much for infallibility. Hopefully God will read a book someday.
