I mean, can other ppl besides you and the recipient receive your emails?

Yes, someone with access to either computer can install a keystroke program that will let them view all messages from a remote location...beware, nothing on the internet or your own computer is completely private...type accordingly...

Yes. The government reads almost every e-mail you send or recieve. They also have the option to listen in on your phone calls. So be careful what you write.

Yes, but only if you open viruses or forwarded mail. Some government groups can read them too, but I wouldn't worry about it I'm pretty sure that your secrets are safe.
