I had the gastric bypass surgery about 10 months ago and lost around 170 pounds so far. Im at the weight I want to be, but I have all the excess skin around my stomach, chest, and arms. I would like to know if there are any other alternatives to getting rid of this excess skin without getting a tummy tuck or any other kind of surgery.

Congratulations on the weight loss!

The bad news is that you need a plastic surgeon to remove the extra skin. It won't shrink.

You need an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) for the belly, a mastopexy for the boobs, and separate procedures for the other areas.

Go for it. You did the hard part, and you deserve to look good.

If you are fairly young, your skin might begin to go back, but if you are older your skin has lost some of its elasticity and likely won't return to its former state. There's really not much you can do other than wait and see or have some kind of surgery. Since you lost so much weight, you may not be able to get all of your skin back to a tighter state.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

If you went through gastric bypass then your doctor should have advised you that you will have to have plastic surgery to remove the excess skin.

I dont care how many diets you try that lose skin has to be cut off.

Your doctor should have gotten a commitment from your insurance company for both surgeries prior to scheduling the bypass.
