Reincarnation is when a soul naturally follows the flow of karma to be re-born. Ressurection is similar but is when a force overrides that natural karma stream and puts a soul back into a physical body that the soul had in it's last life. I know more about it, but... too much to put here... sorry!

Resurrection is the return into a former life, back to where
the soul was in place. A return to the body logos, life's energy being returned to continue.
Where as reincarnation is a modality of recurrence,
eternal way due to reward or punishment, transmigration of spirit & soul to venture back to the visible world either as an animal or human, these ideas are from teachings of recurrence where the belief systems of reincarnation & eternal recurrence have their own independent meanings.
But are these CONcepts truly real ??
It may be perhaps when one feels they have been somewhere
before may only be the activity of brain patterns being in tune with the vibrations that were before, its like you are the receiver and you tune in as it were, so the impression is that you were in a previous life. A morphic unit of pattern that was before yet the vibrations of the past never dissipate, perhaps somehow the activity of brain pattern tuned to a unique frequency which can pick up on what was before ........
Save for resurrection, i can only think that the resurrection of Christ may or may not have actually taken place, or it is simply a story to bring about attention to beliefs to circumscribe the boundaries of faith .....
Just food for thought ......
I won't know until i'am dead ...
sOOn i hope !!!!
Very curious indeed !!

how could you even compare the two? When Jesus was resurrected, he came back as himself. People who believe in reincarnation think you come back as something different.
There is not even a remote similarity in the two.

Sure. Resurrection is symbolic of reincarnation.
Jesus couldn't have made it any plainer, to the few whose eyes are open to see: Verily, verily (truly, literally) you must be born again... If you know Judaism, Nicodemus, you already know the spirit leaves and returns... No one comes down from heaven except those who ascended to heaven... You will conquer death... Cast your bread on the waters, later it will come back to you... Blessed are those who weep, for they will be comforted... The Beatitudes explain karma; much of Jesus's teachings are about karma. Even the Lord's Prayer is about karma: as we forgive we are forgiven. We live according to 'On earth as it is in heaven'...
The 23rd Psalm suggests reincarnation too. Lying down in green pastures -- death. The still waters -- birth. Baptism is symbolic of reincarnation
'God's' apparent cursing innocents "to the seventh generation" was not about damning future children yet unborn; the curses referred to the generations of that individual soul. Seven generations = seven lifetimes.
Jesus and 'God' spoke to *people*. Paul, who took over Christianity from the chosen disciples - who never met Jesus, never discussed morality or law with Jesus - spoke to *churches*. Churches (even moreso then than now) are concerned with political power and authoritarianism over its members. Churches have always had corrupt men. Unbiased history proves that the Christian church from its beginning through the middle ages was very corrupt, often with little understanding of the bible. And these men edited, re-translated and perverted the original scriptures to their liking and interpreted the bible in ways that allow them to keep their control over everyone's lives. Just scan through answers from devout 'Christians' here and you'll see how they blindly accept everything they've been told to believe.
