As much as you feel that something positive could come from this situation, you're probably wrong. In the short run, you may get what you want out of the scenario...She may be into you, you may end up having sex, but eventually something is bound to go wrong and when it does, it won't be pretty. You stand to destroy whatever relationships exist in your family, and you will find that that's more important than satisfying this emotional need.

This is not to be taken lightly, and it's a very serious concern. Your emotions will ultimately decide how this pans out. I advise that you enjoy the relationship that you have with your sister-in-law and avoid challenging it. Remember, if you confess to her and it doesn't go the way that you plan, you may end up driving her out of your life completely.

Ulitmately, people who say "Get her out of your mind" don't understand that this is nearly impossible. This isn't a light switch that can be turned on or off. You may spend the rest of your life in love with your sister-in-law, and there will be easier times ahead and harder times ahead. But ultimately, you must do the smart thing and maintain the current family dynamic.

I wish you luck. It's not going to be easy.

I need some clarification: sister-in-law how? your brothers wife? or your wifes sister? and are you married,if it is your brothers wife?
anyway generally i would say just think about her when you beat off, but otherwise don't persue it unless both of you end up single and the only living members of both of your families

Stop those feelings. That situation is a time bomb ready to happen. It would tear up a family. Don't be selfish.

Keep it to yourself. There would be no point in telling anyone except to cause trouble. After all, it's not like you can do anything about it.

Respect yourself and her enough to leave it alone. If it was meant to be, then if things don't work out between her and your brother, then pursue it.

Back off. Do the decent thing and say nothing. Move away if you have to. It is wrong, wrong, wrong.
