Yes, of course I can...
Wait, no I can't. One side is definitely wrong. (Note: the side that tends to cut-and-paste pseudo-science that they don't understand).

Creation vs. the Big Bang and Evolution
- It really doesn’t matter if you support the big Bang theory or not, just like evolution, maybe those theory’s are true, maybe not, I really don’t know. Personally I don’t think either the big bang or evolutions are what really happened, but what I think really doesn’t matter.
- Did the big Bang happen or not? Either way God created all that exists, the heavens and the earth, and all on it. Maybe the big bang really happened, if so what was the small particle that expanded into all this, where it came from. The laws of physics say “mater cannot be created or destroyed”, and you say we came from nowhere? That doesn’t hold up very well, but accepting the fact that God created the universe is outside the laws of physics, which is where you must be to cause any mater to come into existence, even one particle.
- About evolution, the bible does not mention this, not because it did not happen, but because it does not affect out salvation. I personally do not believe the theory of evolution, but that’s because I have studied it myself and it doesn’t hold up. But I could be wrong, maybe it is what happened. But why does it matter, it’s a THERY, (not a proven fact), Darwin did not even fully believe this theory.
- I am just tired of hearing people at my church (and other Christians) arguing with atheists about these two topics, it doesn’t even matter. Where is it in the bible that specifically says god did not make animals that can change over time, or specifically how he created the universe, it doesn’t, because it doesn’t matter to our salvation, which is what the bible is about.

You are right! The most famous person to disbelieve evolutionism was Darwin! He is the person that at the end of his studies said that if we could not find the "missing link" that his theory was invalid.
For evolution to be valid we must believe (for example) our eyes developed from some light sensitive areas in a previous incarnation. The old system was less efficient than the new one. That should mean, according to evolution, that the old one would then die out. There are too many examples of organisms that have survived unchanged in concert with the more advanced organisms that clearly developed as a part of their family to be explained by evolution.
As for those that say God is a fantasy, look at all of the studies of things like quarks and black holes. The only reason we have "proved" there are black holes is because there are areas in the universe that nothing comes out of, not light, not energy, not nuttin'. We have created a kind of plausible explanation from the data that we have now.
The interesting thing is why those of you who don't believe in God are so hell bent on swaying us to not believe. How does it hurt you in any way to have someone that believes in intelligent design on your team or in your work place. If we are right you will have a wonderful life after death, if you are right you just die. The end!
Which offers more possibilities?

I one hundred and ten percent agree with you. The bible is not always meant to be taken so literal, like the four corners of the earth is just an expression. If you read Genesis carefully which I just did this morning you'd realized there were other people on the earth besides Adam and Eve. When Cain was kicked out the garden of Eden he traveled to another land, the land of Nod, & married a woman. Hmmmm, how did his sister get all the way out there? Was she kicked out too? In fact Cain was scared he would be killed by other men, strange, so God put his mark on him so he would be safe. It was not until Cain left Eden that the bible says Adam and Eve had another child to replace Abel. That child was Seth supposedly the line in which Jesus came. Finally it says in the new Testament that a day is like a Thousand years. So if God did not literally create the Earth and Man in Seven days he very well could have created the building blocks of life and set things into motion, while from time to time guiding things along and interacting as he/she chose. Even from a semi-literalistic fundie view this should not be out of the question. Read Genesis carefully while being open to other than has been preached at you. The Church, the bible, not to mention the Almighty Him/herself are three different things. First go to the source. The rest are addendums at best. If you want my opinion Genesis was talking about the lineage of the tribe of Israel. All others were not God's chosen people making those that existed at the time, not as relevant. It only makes sense according to this tribal logic that Adam, and Eve, the progenitors of the tribe, were the first man and woman on Earth, at least to their personal truth.

I don't think so because of this:
SCIENTIFIC PROBLEMS WITH MACROEVOLUTION:
(Karl Popper's definition of the scientific method )
1. OBSERVATION -steps of evolution have never been observed (Stebbins )
In the fossil recordwe view our data as so bad that we never see the very process we profess to study.(Gould )
2. EXPERIMENTATION -The processes would exceed the lifetime of any
human experimenter (Dobzhansky )
3. REPRODUCTION impossible to reproduce in the laboratory. (Dobshansky )
4. FALSIFICATION -cannot be refuted thus outside empirical science. (Ehrlich )
RESEARCH PROBLEMS WITH MACROEVOLUTION:
1. ORIGINS -the chance of life originating from inorganic chemical elements by natural means is beyond the realm of possibility (Hoyle )
2. DEVELOPMENT -to produce a new organism from an existing life-form requires alterations in the genetic material which are lethal to the organism (Maddox )
3. STASIS -enzymes in the cell nucleus repair errors in the DNA (Barton )
4. GEOLOGIC COLUMN -out-of-place artifacts have been found in earth's sedimentary layers which disrupt the supposed evolutionary order (Corliss )
5. DESIGN -irreducible complexity within the structure of the cell requires design (Denton, Behe ).
(DNA REPAIR: The genome is reproduced very faithfully and there are enzymes
which repair the DNA, where errors have been made or when the DNA is
damaged. - D.H.R. Barton, Professor of Chemistry, Texas A&M University,
Nobel Prize for Chemistry )
(CHANGE WITHIN GENETIC BOUNDARIES: Microevolution does not lead beyond the confines of the species, and the typical products of microevolution,
the geographic races, are not incipient species. There is no such category as
incipient species. Richard B. Goldschmidt )
(MUTATION ACCUMULATIONS RELENTLESSLY FATAL: Any random change
in a complex, specific, functioning system wrecks that system. And living things
are the most complex functioning systems in the universe.Science has now
quantitated that a genetic mutation of as little as 1 billionth (0.0000001%) of an
animal's genome is relentlessly fatal. The genetic difference between human and
his nearest relative, the chimpanzee, is at least 1.6% Calculated out that is a
gap of at least 48 million nucleotide differences that must be bridged by random
changes. And a random change of only 3 nucleotides is fatal to an animal.

There is evidence for evolution and it is a creditable theory.
Christianity is an invention without a shred of proof.
The difference is the people who believe in evolution have open minds and the creationists have closed ones.
No competition then - the intelligence of the thinkers wins hands down over the creationists!

Intelligent Design is garbage. It states that life is "too complex" to have evolved on its own. How are we supposed to know that? What makes us arrogant enough to think that we can tell when something is "too complex" to occur naturally? We don't even know what "natural" is, except in terms of our own planet. We don't know what or who else exists in the universe. We don't know much of anything.
Evolution is at least a theory with evidence. God could even be behind evolution. But you can't PROVE that God had anything to do with creation. You can prove ANYTHING about God. Otherwise, you wouldn't need to have "faith" in him...you would just know he exists.

You miss the point, my friend. The whole point of most religions was to CREATE A FIGHT in the first place. That's how kings and queens justified wars. That's how groups of people justify superior feelings.
The universe speaks for itself, if you look at its magnificence. So does the arrogance and ego of man. It's as obvious as the sky.

I believe i the a big bang theory. The big Guy spoke, and bang, it happened. I refuse to believe in revolution. That would mean that my great great great great great grandfather was a monkey. I am a person created by god not a monkey's grand grand grand grand grand child. Its is also not my faith. Religion really comes by faith. I have faith that I am not an animal.
