There are two wills.
God's perfect Will and His permissive will.
He permits a lot. Look around, all sorts of things go on.
As far as the priests, they did evil and He let them.
In the permissive, there are those things that don't happen because He didn't allow it. You'll never know because they never happened.
Since time began, He permitted stuff.
I for one don't believe in let's make a deal.
You do this and I'll do that.
If it really bothers you that much.
Pray and ask Him to intervene and stop this molesting.
Make it your ambition to ask every day until He does intervene.
Molestation has been going on in families for who knows how long. What makes it harder to deal with is our idea that these men represent God. Who taught us that?
The priests did.
Pray believing that God hears you and will answer.
Always remember, the kingdom of God is within you.
The kingdom is of the Spirit, not the flesh.
If the Kingdom is within you, then God is within you and hears your requests.

There are sick paedophiles in all walks of life because these scum look for positions of trust to meet their sick ends. A UK judge was suspended through having obscene child pictures downloaded to his home computer. He still gets full pay and can still use the title, your honour. How sick is that?
There are children being violated by teachers, doctors, in care homes and all other walks of life. All these filth should be jailed or better yet, given to the families for retribution.
Statistically the Catholic church has less cases than most but these rotten maggot filled apples tar the name of a faith that does a lot of good.
God gives us freewill and those guilty of abusing children will get their return a million fold for the horror that they have committed when they meet the final judgement.
It is also written in the bible, thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God.

Who said priests have anything to do with God? I'd up that ante and ask why no "christians" today even know what first century christianity was about.

They don't want to know. It's more of a club or social lodge than a religion.

From what I've seen salesman sell cars and houses at church. Who gives a damn about Jesus when there are profits to be hussled in church- or children to be molested for that matter.

You should go to church, because you want to be saved, God does not have anything to do with sin, that is why Jesus was sent, so we can come to a better light and turn away from sin. These people are of evil when they commit these crimes, and the world is cursed of sin, thats why we are not to be in love with worldly possessions, its satan that puts evil things in peoples minds, and the only way to stop that is being saved by the lord, or us locking them up and away from people.

Hmm people get angry when God was considered wrathful in the OT trying to deal with the people that were harming each other. Now Jesus came to save us and we are free, supposed to be adults, mature enough to make choices.....well their natural desire overtook them and they violated the law of love, trust and authority. You are right it is wrong but God cannot intervene against our will. Just like if you have a kid and he gets hooked on meth, you can't control him. the kid has to want to change and seek help then something can happen. God is not a dictator.

It's not our place to challenge God, (commandment, do not put the Lord your God to the test.) Those who know Him, trust Him. Those people who do the bad things in this world will be judged by God the same as all of us, and in the world to come they will be made to pay for their sins.

God has already allowed sufficient bad examples to teach the world that catholic priests are not to be trusted. The fact that their church prohibits a male priest from marrying one woman like they are supposed to is proof enough that that church is to be abandoned and not supported.

Read the good book, it says : And there came to the kingdom of heaven all the naughty priests that where doing evil, and the Lord smote their genitils saying to his angels bite their testicles so that they shall know the wrong they have done, and there was a great gnashing of teeth.

Sin is the result of man, and it isn't for God to prevent forcefully. It isn't God's fault that the kid is molested, it's the fault of the person. If God didn't let us sin, or just made it to where we wouldn't have any bad effects from our sin, what would be the point of free will?

Unfortunatly, God gave humanity free will. Personally, I don't believe he ever interferes with that. So, he won't stop the priests from committing these horrible crimes. However, they will pay for it when they die. That's the beauty of free will. When evil people choose to do evil things they will get their punishment.
