Yes, but you need to be careful and it all depends on your current height, weight, age and gender. For example, if you are 5'2", weight 155 lbs, are 23 years old and your level of activity is sedentary then you should be taking in 1694, to lose weight you need to eliminate 500 calories, either by exercise or cutting down calories. You can lose a couple of pounds a week. You can calculate your intake calories and all that with the link below and Good Luck. Remember drink plenty of water and eat your fruits and vegetables.

you can eat anything you want and exercise everyday and lose 10lbs in 5wks nut you will be losing weight and not fat if you cut down to eating 1200-1300 calories a day unless thats what you ate in veggies like if you became a vegitarian. do a lot of exercising but dont over do it no artificial sugars no fat free foods no diet food not healthy and you need carbs to keep your skin toned it keeps your skin from falling and keeps it staying tight. but also drink alot of water everyday. but im just tellin ya since you're just wondering hahahahaha

Well probably yes, but you don't have to starve yourself because you want to loose weight. Learn instead how to eat healthy foods and make sure you eat 5-6 times a day with 2-3 hours apart. By minimizing you calorie intake you're starving you body, burning muscle and making yourself feel tired and sick. And remember to exercise!! 45 minutes a day isn't that hard and remember that exercising at 65%(220-your age is you max pulse) of your max heart rate will make you burn fat faster.

because your body needs like 2000 calories a day so that shortage of calories combined with exercise will make your body start eating away at the fat stored in your body and you'll become thinner.

decreased intake with increased output will solve that problem. just make sure you a working out steadily and watching what you eat. 10 pounds over 5 weeks should be fairly simple.

A 1,000 calorie diet will really take the weight off fast, but when you're sitting down, don't stand up too quickly!

Yes but it can also be very unhealthy for you. If you really want to get thinner you have to eat less and exercise more. Self control is the key. It's worked for me and my mom!
