I ate the Special K Red Berries like the diet says to, but I only did it because the cereal tastes so good it's all I wanted. I still lost 8 lbs. but I didn't limit myself to one serving size at breakfast/one at lunch, etc. I ate it with skim milk (drinking the leftover milk) until my hearts content and the weight just fell off. Just don't eat any fast food for dinner cause that would pretty much make up for any lost calories. Eat a healthy dinner.

I havent tried it but Im sure it'd work.
Replacing 2 regular meals with cereal which is about 200 calories per bowl should help you drop the pounds. Before I ate 14 bowls of cereal a week I think Id try a normal diet an excersize plan though.

Yes the Special K diet works. The key is not eating until you are full and make sure you eat the cereal with Skim milk.

Its not bad for you but its not very good either.
Carbs make you fat. qed.
Something that works for me is a massive amount of sugary carbs in the morning. Orange juice, corn flakes and sugar and strawberries.
It sparks your motabolism, gets you burning up carbs right from the off, but you then need something later on.
If you want to loose weight, dont eat after 8pm, drink water, dont eat masses of wheat, pasta, potatoes and BREAD. Sweets are not a problem but your skin and mood will suffer.
Bit more fish, chicken and fresh stuff

Yeah, it works, but it's not magic or anything -- it's part of an overall healthy eating & exercise effort. Also, it's very dry, full of big air bubbles so it's more air than cereal, and almost completely devoid of any taste whatsoever. Being so blah and airy, don't expect it to satisfy your appetite and stick by you for two meals a day. By the time you get to dinner time, you'll be lightheaded and starved-feeling! There are other (and in my opinion, better) options for weight loss. I guess my thing is, if it were that easy for me to choose to eat light & healthy, I could have probably do it for all three meals per day without having to suffer through two bowls a day of a dry, airy, boring cereal. LOL
My favorite diet cereal is Quaker Crunchy Corn Bran (still kinda dry, but tastes like Captain Crunch). I also like Raisin Bran, which isn't all that low in calories, but raisins are not only sweet, but they provide some iron, which is important for a lot of reasons (sometimes dieters feel really tired, which can be caused by a mild case of anemia from lack of iron) -- and Raisin Bran has a lot of fiber so it's good for you & helps you stay full longer than cereals without much fiber.
If you really want to lose weight in a healthy way, I recommend a certain organization famous for helping people lose weight...I'm not trying to spam or give them free advertising, but you know, the one with the Points system? I lost weight -- went from a size 16 to a size 10 -- and have kept it off for 3 years. The Points system is second nature to me now -- I eat anything I want but I know the Points well enough to manage portions & monitor what I'm taking in without doing a bunch of extra steps or bothersome math to count calories & stuff. They have really good ideas for healthy recipes & healthy snacks on their website -- many parts of the website can be accessed for free by anyone, including people who aren't members. p.s. I'm not even a member anymore, I just do it on my own & try to stay active throughout the day to keep the metabolism up.
But one thing -- no matter what you choose to do to try to lose weight, try to look at it in terms of long-term lifestyle-changing good healthy habits -- there are really no magic short cuts that are good for you & don't hurt your body in some way. It all comes down to learning to make healthy choices in the long run. Good luck to you!

You think you'll loose weight by going from one type of serial to another? You won't loose 6pounds of fat that's for sure, just because you eat overpriced Kellogg's products; they contain so much sugar it's ridiculous how they can call it healthy. Eat scrambled egg whites or oatmeal for breakfast and I'm sure you'll loose some weight, but it won't go away forever; you have to continue dieting and exercising daily for at least an hour.

I heard that the people who eat it feel hungry most of the day..
Plus, your body doesn't get the nuritents it needs with this "diet"..
I don't recommend it, but you will lose weight. It will work... basically because you're not eating as much as you normally would have. If you just cut back on calories, it'll do the same thing as this "diet"...

I eat Special K every morning for breakfast. You have to eat it twice a day (breakfast and lunch) and a low-cal meal in the evening for it to work.

BUT i do still eat in the morning sometiems. but thats not enough to encourage weight loss.
