Man and woman were made in the image of God with individuality, the power and freedom to think and to do. Though created free beings, each is an indivisible unity of body, mind, and spirit, dependent upon God for life and breath and all else. When our first parents disobeyed God, they denied their dependence upon Him and fell from their high position under God. The image of God in them was marred and they became subject to death. Their descendants share this fallen nature and its consequences. They are born with weaknesses and tendencies to evil. But God in Christ reconciled the world to Himself and by His Spirit restores in penitent mortals the image of their Maker. Created for the glory of God, they are called to love Him and one another, and to care for their environment. (Gen. 1:26-28; 2:7; Ps. 8:4-8; Acts 17:24-28; Gen. 3; Ps. 51:5; Rom. 5:12-17; 2 Cor. 5:19, 20; Ps. 51:10; 1 John 4:7, 8, 11, 20; Gen. 2:15.)

You need to read the Bible to get a good clearification of believers relationship with GOD!..........I gree with (Julia)...God doesn't see us as unworthy & crap in the way you're putting it and naturally understanding it!...if that were the case, there wouldn't have been the Birth, the Death, and the Ressurection of Christ for someone who is Unworthy & Crap!....And No, Believers are not Pathetic!....if that were the case, we wouldn't be VICTORIUS and More Than CONQUERORS THROUGH JESUS! (Romans 8: 37).......I'll put it as simple as I can... JESUS Is All Powerful & All Knowing And Able To Do "Exceeding Abundantly Above All That We Ask Or Think, According To The Power That Work In Us" (Eph. 3: 20)......To sum it all up, we have more in The LORD than we have in ourselves!.........

I'm not telling you that. I don't beleive that. And I don't believe that is the message of Christianity. Jesus never told anyone they were bad, or a sinner. Jesus basically hung out with all the people everybody else looked down on.
Are you really asking for clarification? Seems to me you have your mind made up...

First off different religions teach different things. The bottom line is being a true Christian (Christ like).
You can be very famous, wealthy, beautiful and popular but it won't get you into Heaven unless you truly know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So without God and Jesus we can have all those things and still be garbage. But I know that I am everything with Him and nothing without.

without God I'm nothing, without Jesus I am nothing but he thinks I'm worth everything to him or else he wouldn't have went to the cross for me I am worth a lot more to my king and God then to the world, so if the world tell me I'm nothing it don't matter but if God tell me I'm nothing it is from the devil because God loves me.as Just I am.he who is a friend to the world is not a friend to God.

I wouldn't put it in terms like "pathetic" and "crap," but yes, as far as entering Heaven goes, we can't do it by ourselves at all. We don't deserve it -- because God's kingdom is so far over our heads (literally and figuratively) that only His grace can get us there.
In that sense, yes, we are awfully lowly.
But we're not "crap" in the way you describe -- because God made us! And He don't make crap!

If Jesus said it - I believe it
His Word cannot lie
If it's written in the Bible
I'll believe it till I die.
Though the mountains be removed
And cast into the sea,
God's Word will last forever
Even through eternity!

Nope I can do all things through God who strengthens me.I became worthy when I accepted Jesus in my heart. I, if you would read your Bible would see that, I am a joint heir with Jesus. That makes me someone very important in the eyes of God.
