I love my boyfriend dearly and he loves me dearly too. He has told me he doesn't like kissing because he has a phobia about it. He feels that it is weird not to like kissing, but he thinks it is gross and he kisses me because he knows i like too. I feel kinda bad and I would like to help him enjoy it, but I don't know what to do. How can I help him and how can i be a better girlfriend? ( We are chaste)

Didnt you or someone ask this exact question already?

You cant "help him"

And here is the part you will hate.

The more you push, pull, beg, plead, entice him,.....the 'grosser' it will seem to him.

Some people just have phobias about different things. Is there maybe something in his past that might cause him to feel this way? That is many times the cause of such phobias. Help him to face that. It sounds as if he is trying. Just give him your utmost support and love. Besides, this shows that your relationship is so much more than just physical attraction. Take this as a wonderful opportunity to become even greater friends. The attatchment to each other will continue to grow in such a stronger way than is ever possible with just a physical relationship.

Well, do YOU enjoy his kissing? If you do, then the only thing you can do is make him feel comfortable by telling him that you really really like him, and kissing means a lot to you. If you think you could live without it, tell him he doesn't HAVE to do anything he doesn't want to.

Not much that you can do until he is able to get over his phobia of kissing.
Stand by him and keep trying to explain that there are thousands of people that kiss and it is ok. I don't think that anyone has ever died from a kiss.

Find out what is so gross.. Maybe if you both brush your teeth first? Cause maybe it has to do with germs? Just talk openly about it.. Maybe he has a buried memory of kissing someone and it did'nt go so well..
I'm glad you two are talking about this. It's a strong relationship skill to be able to talk

it truly is an truly actual issue. Kissing is so much better intimate than having sex. Being head to head, soul to soul takes sex to an entire new element. adult males could have disconnected sex with almost absolutely everyone, yet they only kiss those that they have got thoughts for. it is impossible that your guy is going to modify in this issue. you're both going to ought to stay with being unhappy or finally end up somebody else who fulfills this significant pick in you.

Man when I was young, kissing was about as exciting as it gets. Possibly it could be a problem with yourself, just make sure you keep basic hygene and brush often. Couple breathmints couldent hurt.

Now I have heard everything...a guy who doesn't like kissing..okay it is possible. Therapy, (not the expensive kind with a professional counselor or something) you should do the therapy. Start off slowly and then build it up slowly until his fear is gone.
