If you're in Great Britain dial 141 before the number. This means that the receiver can't trace your number by dialing 1471 and it doesn't show on the screen.

I think *67 will block caller ID at the receiving end. To show up as private, you may have to unlist your number.

Usually press *67, the dial tone will pause 2-3 times then you can go ahead and make your call.

Make sure that the person answers phone calls from unavailable IDS. I don't because most of them are asking for donations.
