I have to go home to do anything else.... (you know, poo).... and it's kind of amazing because I can hold it for up to seven days if I am in unfamilliar territory (ie: vacation, camping, etc.). Does anyone else have the same experience?

Yes, I have a similar problem. I can't have a bowel movement in a public restroom if I think people can hear me. If I'm sharing a hotel room with friends or business associates I try to have my BMs at night when they're asleep.
I also have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) so sometimes I don't have any choice but to have a BM at a public restroom. I get so embarrassed when people can hear me that I wait a few minutes after I'm done before leaving the stall.
I'm also very self conscious of the noise feminine hygiene products make when I'm opening them. The paper or plastic always seems to crinkle and you can hear it tear.

Brother in law has that problem. Holding it for several days is not good. You should be going at least once a day anything less will make you irregular and than you have a real problem on your hands. Try eating more fruits, grains, and whole wheat.

Yep, I drove a truck for four years and I couldn't defecate anywhere totally unfamiliar. I'd wait like 5, 6 days. Huh, I thought I was the only one.

I don't like crapping in public places.. only because someone always makes a rude comment on how bad you stunk up the restroom.. hell, I do that.. ^_^ hehehehe

no....umm.......you shouldnt hold anything in crap or pee only becuse that can mess up your bladder.....but no i have not had an experiance with this kind of situation and u might be surprised that i am not picking on you...and no i wont..but yea stop holding it in when ever you get a chance to go to the bathroom (when u have to) then go!!
