Wow, that's a lot of questions...
"Is it a burden for Christians to constantly have to...?"
"Defend some pretty fanatical theories?" No, I enjoy a good logical debate.
"Do you feel challenged when there is a lot of evidence to debase your views and you are really just left with, “cause God said”?" I haven't actually yet experienced this.
"Is there a lot of pressure placed on you to spread his word?" Not any pressure that I didn't put there myself. Spreading the gospel is due to compassion for others, not because other people say I should. I accepted Christ about 7 months ago, and I can honestly say that I am infinitely happier than I was before. When I see other people hurting, I want to spread the love. No, not in a "I'm going to shove things down your throat"-type way, but in a "hey, I'm listening to you, I can help you, what do you need, I'll pray for you"-type way. Helping people physically as well as spiritually is important. What kind of Christian tells someone about God, but doesn't give him food to eat?
"Is Christian morality a burden?" Nope
"Is it a burden to dislike so many people, places and things?" Dislike implies that you naturally don't like something, it doesn't take an effort. So, no. But I don't find myself disliking many things, so the question is really moot.

I don't have to defend fanatical theories, there aren't any. Anyone can call someone else's beliefs fanatical when they don't agree. There has been no evidence that I've seen that has "debased" anything I believe in. When you belittle the word of The Almighty God of all Creation you are showing the futility of your belief. My belief is"cause God said" isn't a futile answer, it is the utmost authority. None of us have to make excuses for God, He is God, what part of that do you not understand? The only pressure to spread the word is that He told His followers to preach the gospel. He doesn't want any to perish. If you would rather perish, just tell all your Christian friends to leave you alone, you want to go to hell. They will quit bugging you, they'll probably still pray for you, but they won't bug you. As for morality being a burden, of course it's not a burden, we just aim for it. We won't be perfect until we are in Heaven and Jesus changes us to be like Him. As for disliking, you seem to be a tad confused there. Read your posting and tell me who really shows a perfect example of disliking so many people, places, and things.,

Obviously you haven't a clue what it is to be saved, which I understand because I was just as blind at one time. I have never seen any evidence to debase the bible , and most of what the Christians are speaking are God's words from the bible. I don't dislike so many people, places and things. And no my mortality is not a burden for me, it is a blessing. It is a compassion that comes from being saved through Jesus, that has given us a new life, here and in Heaven, that we don't want to see anyone lost and not have the hope we have . I don't want to see anyone go to hell for eternity, is what the people that believe in God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit are trying to say, not from hate but from love.

>>>Is it a burden for Christians to constantly have to.defend some pretty fanatical theories?<<<
What fanatical theories? You mean theories like love your neighbor as yourself? Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you? Whenever you fed, clothed, gave water to, or comforted the least of God's people, you did it for Him? Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you?
If these are your concept of "fanatical theories," then I'll pray for you. I promise.
>>>Do you feel challenged when there is a lot of evidence to debase your views and you are really just left with, “cause God said”?<<<
Not to toot my own horn, but I think I've done a pretty good job of debunking a lot of this "evidence" that you say "debases Christianity."
Much of this evidence consists of calling Christians stupid, ignorant, and blind. If this is your idea of "evidence," then I'll pray for you some more. I promise.
>>>Is there a lot of pressure placed on you to spread his word?<<<
Well, He told us to spread His word -- so yes, coming from the Son of God Himself, that's pressure. But He wouldn't ask us to do it if we couldn't handle it.
>>>Is Christian morality a burden?<<<
At times, yes. But the rewards are fantastic. In fact, they're out of this world. Literally.
>>>Is it a burden to dislike so many people, places and things? <<<
I don't know. I'm a Christian of the Catholic variety. There are very few people, places, and things that I dislike.
I'm afraid you're aiming this particular question at the wrong group of people.

The Bible says that if someone doesn't want to believe what you have witnessed to them, then just leave them alone, it is their choice whether or not to believe. Yes, being a Christian is hard sometimes. Though we get angry, we are expected to forgive. We are also expected to try and love everyone, not just those who love us. I admit I have a tough time with those two. I do not feel the need to debate any kind of theories. Faith is just that...faith. I can feel in my heart that what I know is true even though there are many, many people telling me it isn't logical. I just know. There are things I dislike, but I do try to keep an open mind about most people/things. Perhaps it helps that I am pushing 50 and have lost family members and friends. I can see that I truly am a mortal and that someday I too, will die. For those who do not believe the way I do, I hope you have found something that gives you the peace I feel. If you ever decide to turn to God, He will be waiting for you.

what do you mean with 'dislike so many people, places and things'?
fanatical means 'extreme or irrational believes'. extreme doesn't have to be bad and is rather subjective, so it depends on the beholder, so it can't really be judged; irrational is 'not being logic', 'being without reason', but everything God commands has a good outcome - on you and others (you interact with etc.).
different religions have different theories. but the church I attend has answers that make a lot of sense and are not extreme in any way...you might say it's personal, keeping and strengthening one's relationship with God (through prayer, scripture study and living His Gospel) you get answers and a better understanding of things, the world even.
I never really had to worry about it, because there's not really any 'evidence' to debunk my beliefs. if you'd be more specific I could probably explain better =)
I believe God created us and the earth, as well as our brains. He knows what we are able to do and accomplish...and the understanding and application of science is one of them. therefore, science can't prove God doesn't exist and it can't prove yet that he does. but it will close the circle one day =)
not pressured to spread His word but I like to share it...if I'm asked.
everyone has different weaknesses that might make it seem like a burden to live His commandments and gospel, but with His help you can learn to overcome and/or control your weakness/es. morality makes a lot of sense to me so I don't really consider it a burden. it's usually easier to do something if you know why/what for...I think.

SHOW me this "evidence to debase your views" and I'll have an answer for each one. (post a question labeled: "evidence to debase Christianity") As for everything else? Yeah sometimes it's hard to be me. A burden though? No.

It's a burden to always be the one people consider fanatical and to have to struggle t be taken seriously, but my beliefs aren't hard to carry because of a lack of reason behind them. Evolution is crazy to me because it demands spontaneous combution of life, which is a paradox; the existence of God is self-apparent to me because the universe is orderly, and order just coming from nowhere is a paradox as well.
I guess the hardest part is being hated by people who'll most likely ever even meet me.

there are so many people for christian beliefs and not for christian beliefs, I personally think christians are christians because they need that safty feeling. the thought that if they persue good things for other and spead the word that they will be granted access to heaven and then there are people who dont believe it because they believe in other things, science proof,or other religions. i think everyone needs thier comfort zone when it comes to the after life. because honestly its kinda scary not knowing for sure what exactly going to happen, yea you can believe undoubtedly that god will take care of you and he;s the only way and good thats your choice of thought. but most people choose to believe in evidence and what seems to be the honest truth.
