There are promises made in the Bible by the One calling Himself God. Instead of going through , mostly, pseudo-scientific, mentally gymnastic excersises of explanations as to why the Bible cannot be true, why don't you do something He says will not be done? For example, He says that ancient Babylon and Tyre will never be built again. You could approach a few wealthy atheists with the idea that it will be a good business venture. Think of the fame and wealth as a result of being the men that proved, once-and-for-all that God does not exist! They could even be theme parks! How about it? Of course these are only two of His promises. I'm sure that Christians will be open to any suggestions you might have as to which of His promises you will challenge. What do you say?

This is how you win....by mocking the challenge? Why not go over there and actually DO IT? I guess your only rough around the mouth!

Will no one take it? many of you are on here every day, saying how stupid we are how blind and ignorant. Here is your chance. If one of you attacked it with the same amount of enthusiasm you attack the christian community, how could you fail? And please if the best refute you can come up with is "how stupid" why waste your time, find someone else to pick on.

If memory serves me correctly, he never said such a thing.

During the time of Babylon God told the people not to build anything on a certain point. They decided to build a building which was called the tower of Babal. God destroyed Babylon and seperated the people.

Babylon was were everybody in the World lived at the time. It was located in the Middle East engulfed most of the countries there.

Since then many people have tried to rebuild the tower and restore Babylon, but have been unsuccessfull on thier attepts. Most of the reason why is when somebody started it others stopped them. For example Suddam wanted to do both, but before he could we went to war.

It has been prophecised that the tower of Babel will be rebuilt in the end days.

This must be like one of Jesus' tests on Mt Hermon...
Just because we could do it doesn't make it the right thing to do.

Wouldn't it be more sensible to get a load of "aethiests and agnostics" to build a well and develop irrigation in a famine struck country... or try to stop a bunch of religious extremists blow each other to bits... or try to challenge religion fuelled homphobic violence

It's not a stupid challenge. It's a challenging challenge....and why not?!

We are intelligent beings and God gave us brains so that we use them! The bible is a different story.....errrmmm Yeah.....just a story in most cases....a story that we are made to believe without questioning.....and that's wrong.

I've decided to take your challenge, but I'm looking through the Bible for things God says can't be done. If you'd give me some clues, I'll get started.

So if I zone my own town in Alabama, for example, and call it Babylon, that will prove to you that your bible is false?

(Edit - Sorry, it's already been done. Well, I guess that wraps that sh1t up... http://www.townofbabylon.com/ )

Boy, you're easily impressed. Tell you what, though, here's some stuff that's a lot more credible than that. I double dog dare you to read this page...

I like this.

Welcome to Babylon, enclave of the Reasonable. While you're here, why not stop by the Hanging Olive Garden? The breadsticks are abominably good. While you're at it, why not check out our Tower, with fantastic views of Jerusalem, Paris, London, Newark, and Tokyo (Yes, it's that tall!)

Brochures are available in *every* language.

Those who doubt Bible can read the following verse:

Zechariah 12:3

On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.

How true is it even today?

babylon and Tyre getting rebuilt? What is the challenge? Do u want someone to rebuild the cities in those places or build another city that is named after babylon and tyre?

And yes if u have the money, and if there are business opportunities there, who would be stupid enough to not build it. Given the problems in our current economy, why not expand elsewhere.

I say you need to get out more! I also challenge you to prove god exists and that the bible is not make believe? I'd love to be proven wrong.

Good idea, but I don't think any Christians would allow that to affect their belief. They already believe creationism despite evolution being HUGELY OBVIOUS, and supported by more scientific evidence than any other theory.
