Tomatos are actually the most commonly eaten fruit in the world. Many sources say the banana is, but it isn't.
A fruit is defined as any grown mass containing seeds. Cucumbers, squash, pumpkin, tomatoes are all fruit.
Another interesting piece is that fruit are also technically vegetables. Vegetables are simply anything edible that grows which include fruit, herbs, rice, wheat potaoes. Pretty much everything except meat products.

Vegetable is a broad term that can be confusing. Scientifically, fruits are the nutritive source that surround the seeds of a plant. So, anything that has a seed would be a fruit. Roots, seeds and leaves are vegetables, like lettuce, beans and carrots. I think the idea of fruit is more of a sweet fruit than an acidic one like tomotoes

YEAH YEAH YEAH
Put fresh gum under the napkin and flatten and return the fork and knife on top as if the table was freshly set. Put fresh gum under the water glass and press down hard. Bring a fly for the water or drink, (harmless but shocking).

Actually yes, and so are peppers. Interestingly though, bananas are herbs, at least according to the food network
