5 pounds is a very healthy amount of weight to lose per week. There is actually a mathmatical formula to calculate the amount of calorie intake against the calories that you burn. It's about 500 calories, not positive on this number, but it will get you within your range.
So as long as you burn 500 more calories than you intake per day, you will lose 5 pounds a week. You will want to watch what type of foods you eat for your health, you will want to walk or run to have a healthy heart and toned body, but most of your other suggestions do not work. The only way to lose weight is to burn more than you consume.

You can probably lose 2 real pounds and 3 pounds of water. The best way to do this is cut your calories to maybe 1200 a day, get as much exercise as you reasonably can, and in the last 12 hours before you weigh, dehydrate yourself to work off those 3 water pounds.
I'm just telling you how, I don't recommend it.
By the way - if you are planning to do something physical at the end of that week (e.g. wrestling) this is a notoriously bad idea. You are better off healthy, strong, and hydrated, and wrestling up in your "proper" weight class.

Well I know it sounds really weird but eat more often. Eat around five small meals a day. It will speed up your metabolism. Get your five portions of fruit and veg a day and cut out meat you'd be suprised how much going vegetarian can help weightloss healthly. My dad lost ten pound in two days by doing this. He was really against vegetarianism at first but now he has grown used to the idea and has lost around three stone over the last two months.
Bike riding and swimming are great ways of burning calories without relising it. You could also have more energetic sex. That's definately a more enjoyable form excercise.

i don't know much about diet but a friend of mine did the south beach diet and she said she lost 5lbs in a week. Basically, you have to cut all sugar (good and bad). You can eat all the carb you want ,just no sugar (including fruit). So check it out.
