Ok for all those people who dont know me..Iam madly in love with my best friend and i dont know whether he loves me or not. He is staying in another country because of work, but this time when he met me, he gave me mixed signals.He told me slowly one by one that he liked what i wore....he liked my hair ...he liked my eyes...and then he stopped.He has called me more than he usually does.Is that normal best friend behavior or am i deeply mistaken???

Here's the gig. You are a female. That being said, you are analyzing everything that he says and does. I know, because I too, do the very same thing, as well as every girl and woman I know. It's is our blood. I have had 2 minute encounters with this one man that I have analyzed for months. Did he seem happy, did he smile for more than the usual time, did he notice my new dress, did the wind come from North to East or South to West. My dear, it is both a curse and a joy to be able to do this. (I am an expert at it.) HOWEVER...it is liberating and smart to live in the moment. Enjoy your time with him. Wait and see,(and this is the difficult,but rewarding part!) how things unfold. Time will tell. Believe me...it is exhausting trying to figure out what this or that meant. Becuase you have strong feelings for him, anything he says to you, how he acts aroung you, your going to take it as him wanting you when that is not the case. He is just being a nice guy and telling you how you look. It's normal, he cares about you in a friendship, brother sister way. With the phone calling, he may not can get intouch with his other friends and your the only one he can get in touch with.
A bestfriend, doesn't always mean that he will be a good boyfriend.

Get it girl!!! He is totally into you, and probably thinking the same things you are! It sounds like he is scared to tell you how he feels because hello you are Best FRIENDS. Most guys think that if you are friends you cannot be anything more, and that is so not true! If you care about him then tell him right away. You never know..... this may be your last chance to do so.

life isn't some campy sitcom or some cheesy romantic comedy starring Reese Witherspoon.
You need to be direct and tell him how you feel...guys like it when a girl is honest, then he will be honest back if he is a nice guyy. but that doesn't mean you should let your gaurd down, be mindful...life is long so try not to make costly mistakes that you will regret.

Hmmmmm...these signals are dangerous...it is a rare occasion when a best friend scenario work out in a love love scenario....if you really want to know...just ask him...stop guessing...but I assure you...it never turns out the way you would like..

you could be mistaken, but then again you couldn't be. It sounds like he likes you, and if you like him chances are he has the same feelings! Maybe he was just being polite... I always tell my best friend I love her hair, clothing, etc... but I'm not trying to hook it up with her.
If you feel strongly for him, take a chance & tell him. Why wait for the man to innitiate it?

if your not willing to talk to him and find out from him then maybe you should cool your jets withthe guy before something bad happens and theres no turning back. bu in my experience i will tell you to dump him hes got a girl on the line and just keepin you tagging along for when hes in town. talk to him and find out how he feels! good luck to your happiness!

i don't think so normaly guys act like that when they have a crush.the thing is u like him too so what the big deal.let make this short u guys like each other but never told to each other.not a big deal.
