I have a digital set top box. Some times it works fine but its not reliable.

It could be interference, that only occurs during certain wheather conditions.

I live on the Sussex coast. When there's good weather / high pressure, we get interference from TV signals from France. BBC channels seem to be barely affected, but ITV channels become pretty-much unwatchable at times, both in analogue and digital.
The local aerial company have had a look, and say there's nothing we can do - the transmission frequencies and direction to the transmitters are such that its bound to happen with certain atmospheric conditions.

you might need a digital arial my dad had this problem cost him £50 to get one put up and it did the trick thats if your using a free view box you didnt say

Arial Upgrade Required..... and check all connections between Arial and digibox....

Do you have a digitial tuner or receiver to receive digitial signals. If you have analog you will not receive digitial.
