Oh, yes, there are gentlemen out there. You ladies don't notice us because too many of us are not so aggressive as to get in your face while the little boys are showing off. Don't want to be associated with that crowd, you know.
You know, it would be a lot simpler if fewer ladies encouraged their behavior by rewarding them with attention. Then, they would either go away, or many would grow up themselves. Either way, the ones among us who have been more reserved all along would no longer disappear into the background noise as we do now.
Fact is, men are simpler than women; they're going to do what they see working. And all too often these days, they see the obnoxious boy behavior working. Be careful what you wish for, though. Lots of guys work so hard trying to be a gentleman that they forget how to have fun. Then, the girls lose interest & wander back to the bad boys... So, what's a guy to do?
Good luck to you, though!

First off not all guys are "running game". Secondly any guy who would say "yo ma yo ma" is obviously an ignorant pig. Come to the area of Tx i was raised in and you will meet plenty of guys who know how to treat a lady like a lady. I know how to treat a woman with respect and dignity. Not like some trophy i am trying to win. If a man wants to get a woman to notice him or go out with him or whatever he needs to work at it a little. What happen to bringing a girl flowers or cady or something to win her heart? There are plenty of us out here. Just keep looking and dont give up hope. Good luck.

What urks me the most are the 30 year olds trying to play "the game"...but thankfully, I am married to one of the few gentlemen out there, and let me tell you where you can find them, in the air forces, marines, and navy. These men have such good morales and class! They are REAL MEN! Not like these little ******* out there who "try to spit game" but only make themselves sound like asses just like they look like an *** while saying it. Who cares if its 2006, doesn't mean because the century is turning, these guys need to turn into more and more animals each year...ugh! Girl, you brought up a wonderful subject! I'm just glad I found me one. Good Luck!

Okay, I'm 15. Not exactly gentleman-y material, eh? Well, I hope I'm not yer run-of-the-mill 15 year old in that regard. I'm with ya. I'm sick of watching guys think they can do whatever they want.
I try to be a bit better than that. Heh, my friends have actually started referring to me as "Sir Glennith" and my "Code of Honour."
There are others out there who try (and I hope we succeed) at breaking the current teenage mould.
-The Good Sir =)
Edit: As the answer above me said, we do try to stay a bit out of sight. If we enter the mainstream, we get trampled and hurt. Badly.

If they can't be respectful upfront the bad behavior will only continue.
Yes, it does seem like true gentlemen are long gone but they aren't ... I think you're just looking in the wrong places.
You need to find a man who's mama would have smacked him if she heard him talking like that.
Hang in there and look elsewhere.

Men just figure since all they care about is sex, and not long lasting relationships, they have no one to impress anymore. It's all part of the decline of western civilization. The person who responded at the top of the page was a perfect example of that.

You're right little boys run game, "the game" as you may already know is a set of lies figured by a boy that makes he may think makes him seem attractive, butsee me, i am a real man. I don't do games, or calls, i approach them with respect as if they are human beings, and i introduce myself and i walk and talk and let it go from there.

You've unfortunately been the victim of "little boys" LEARNING game. A boy doesn't turn into a man without practice. That's the reality. The gentlemen you wish existed are out there, and they are looking just as hard for you as you are for them.

It seems that you might want to consider the location of your "running" route. Where in the world do you hang out and, more to the point, why do you hang out there.
If you don't like what you're getting; change your location, change yourself or change your attitude.

Plenty of men figure that y'all want a thug not a gentleman... I mean it's not like the musicians you listen and dance to in the club are gentlemen.... they more to the tune of 50 Cent, the certified PIMP/O.G.
