missed two days of my effexor... also got bright flashy lights... optometrist sez it's not my eyes.

It's the withdrawal from Effexor. I would get that way when I missed a dose. If you are trying to get off the Effexor, talk to your prescribing doctor, it will only get worse. S/he'll put you on a program to wean you off the meds. It takes a little while.

I use to take effexor 150, and when I missed a dose I would get really depressed. Well, about a month ago I started Riding a bike everywhere and exercising. I haven't taken the med since.
I had no withdrawal symptoms what so ever. I don't know about the eyes though.

Taper off of that poison. It is poison. Google Effexor withdrawal, and go off slowly. Effexor is the heroin of psychiatric drugs and just as hard to wean from. If missing 2 doses of it makes you feel that badly, imagine how powerful it truly is. Pharmaceutical companies want you hooked on their crap like a drug addict for the rest of your life. Omega 3 helps with the side effects.

yes and i would suggest you take it. because it will get worse to cold/hot feeling sick and vomiting.. i have been thru withdrawal the effexor xr. it like a flu feeling. better take it .

effexor is speed so you are having withdrawls, you may be cranky too it will mess with your attitude

DO NOT miss your next dose and do not double up if you experience more problems get to your doctors.

Yes it is withdraws from the depresson meds...take them asap...just get worse
