It's the whole lifestyle. You have to also take into account the jelousy issues at hand. Strippers work about 20 hours a week and make more than professionals working 60 hours a week. Think about it, a dancer makes about 1k a night on any given night in about 6 hours time working 3 nights a week that's 12k tax free a month which equals about 20k a month for someone on a W2 income. So, now they have a ton of time and money to go shopping, the beach, vacations, etc... ENVIOUS???

Now, Strippers also get a ton of attention from men as well as gifts. Gee, sucks to be a stripper doesn't it???

The average women in the US is 1. overweight 2. unhappy with her limp d*ck boyfriend 3. unhappy in general and 4. struggling to make ends meet. May as well have someone to look down upon, why not strippers.

Personally, I'll take a relationship with a stripper any day. At least she can bring something to the table.

I was a bartender at one of the biggest strip clubs in my town and for the most part the strippers were scumbags, but there were a few girls who were just doing it to pay for college of get caught up on car payments or whatever.
But for example...one girl was outright hooking in the club going to meet customers after hours to have sex for money.
Another was caught shooting up drugs in the bathroom.
But it is just a job, they do "sell" their bodies for money, But I don't see it as any different than say a Model who poses nude or partially nude in a mens magazine, So to say they are one step away from a prostitute is a little unfair, even if many of them are not all strippers are like that. The lure of the job is money. I saw one girl who wasn't slutty easy or even pretty! make 1500 in 2 nights dancing. And she never got all the way nude.

No, it's not like every other job because they are naked. I don't know of any other job that is performed naked. Except maybe *acting* in a porno, but they are unquestionably easy. If these girls didn't want to be seen as easy, they would get a different job. They don't have a problem with being deemed a slut, so that is why they take off their clothing for money.

And what guy wants to date a girl that takes her clothes off for a living? Not exactly the type of girl you want to bring home to mom. How do you think they would feel, knowing that hundreds, if not thousands of men have seen her nasty bits?

It's not a respectable job.

We are taught by our parents that good girls don't do certain things on a first date or wear certain types of clothes etc... So when you meet a woman who takes her clothes off for money your instinct is that she is easy. I think more men are starting to realize due to media coverage about the profession that some women are drawn to stripping by the good money it provides. A lot of stories show women who are paying for college and supporting children by dancing which only supports the positive aspect of the profession. However you have to admit there are enough bad apples out there who will do more than dance for the right amount of cash. So the stigma will live on.

My last girlfriend was a stripper and I tried hard to have a relationship with her. She is too messed up from the same thing you are talking about to maintain a steady relationship. I am one example of someone that puts past in the past but she couldnt. I know you will find the right one some day.

A lot of guys are too insecure to be in a relationship with a stripper. They can't handle other men looking at you or the thought that you might like one of those guys more.

well, you have a point... strippers are people with feelings too. however, stripping isn't just an ordinary job... your doctors, teachers and grocery store baggers don't reveal their bodies to the public. men go see strippers to get a quick peek at a naked woman... the same reason they look at adult mags... for the dirty images. this makes them horny & think of sex. so if you are dancing around naked in front of a guy, do you think he is pondering commitment or a good time?

A stripper is to a prostitute what 2D is to 3D. You may not "do it", but you look like you "do it"!

Advice: as long as you keep this job, draw firm lines. Make sure everyone knows that stripping is your job, not your hobby, and that, like an actress, that character remains on stage. Have nothing to do with anyone who insists on forcing his intentions upon you. Report anything criminal--sexual harassment, rape--to the authorities.

Unfortunately, you might not find a "respectable" guy as long as you're in this job, unless he's in show business, like a musician or a comedian.

Bc most of the guys that go to strip clubs are either married or in relationships. And its a real ***** to be at home cooking, cleaning, ironing and changing shitty diapers while your man is blowing the rent money off on some dirty **** who would never give him the time of day anyway. I think strippers are degenerate pieces of **** and so are the men who waste money on them.

Not for nothing but are you serious? I mean maybe you are out of the norm of strippers but 85-90 % of you guys will do anything for a buck. prostitution, drug addicts, alcoholics...please honey!!! The stigma is there because it's a reality.....now get over here and give me a lap dance (waves a $20.00). Don't get me wrong us men love ya.....
