Unfortunately there isn't much you can do. You can let her know you worry for her, but then she'll just feel guilty. That may be enough to get her working out, but it may just make her feel worse and eat more. Unfortunately she is making her choices in her life and if she doesn't take care of herself, that is it. My mother is the same way, but I know there isn't anything I can do for her, unless I win the powerball and get lipo for her.

Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do besides being a good support system for her. It's obvious that you care about your mom a lot so this should be easy for you.

Let her in the most gentle way possible that you are concerned about her health because of her weight. Make sure she knows how afraid you are of losing her and that you want to help her get healthy.

Offer to workout with her. Start slowly at first, like just walking around the block. Help her shop for healthy food and maybe suggest joining a program like Weight Watchers.

Your mom is lucky to have such a caring daughter! I wish you and your mom the best of luck with this situation.

Tell her you don't want her to die - that you love her too much and that if she died, it would tear you up. Ask her if you can go to the store with her. Help her pick GOOD FOOD. I know this is not the job of a child but if you can, do it. Sometimes people get so overweight they feel it's hopeless. Tell her it's not hopeless - that lots of people lose weight. I don't know how old you are - if you are working or not - buy her a couple of Weight Watchers cookbooks (there is GOOD food in there). And you still can be full!!!

Mom I love you so much and want you to be around on this earth for a long time. Can you go on a jog/walk with me. Get some healthy but good snacks. People who say anything that's healthy tastes bad but they are just looking for an excuse. Take her shopping, alot of fun excerise.

Tell her how you feel. Believe me, its motivation enough. I told my mom (i was in the same boat as you) and she said it gives her more motivation to know her weight is not only affecting her, but you as well. Tell her you'll help her, go on walks with her, and when you go out together, encourage her to try healthier foods or healthier places to eat. Encouragement goes a looooong way.

try to hide whatever junk is in the house. your mom should be a little better if she eats healthier.and the main reason for consuming junk is convenience. leave some sut up apples on the table or have a salad prepared for her.

ASK HER TO STOP EATING AT NIGHT
LET HER HAVE A GOOD HEALTHY BREAKFAST,LUNCH AND DINNER.
AVOID GIVING HER SWEET AND FATTENING FOODS.
TAKE HER FOR A WALK,STARTING WID WALKING SLOWLY FOR 5-10 MINUTES AND THEN INCREASE TIME N SPEED GRADUALLY. IN THIS WAY HER MUSCLES WOULD BECOME STRONG N HEALTHY N SHE WONT COMPLAIN ABT LEG PAIN AGAIN.

once it gets to this point it becomes tough. She needs a swimming pool or some kind of water to exercise in so she doesnt hurt her joints.

she probably wont go to public pools because she looks hideous.
