A .docx file is a file saved with MS WORD 2003... You will need either Office 2003 Suite or Word 2003 to view the file...
(DOCX is an XML version of a DOC file)
Microsoft also has free viewers you can download from their site:
http://office.microsoft.com
that will let you VIEW (but not EDIT) office files under Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
