If you are discussing G-D, then you are assuming He exists. In that case the answer is as follows.
G-D is a being that was not created, but rather refers to a being that always was, is, and will be. In scientific terms, it can be understood as follows. Anything that is bound by space and time must be created by something or someone.. G-D, not being bound by space or time, does not need to have been created.
Hope this helps...

Simple:
He is the creator.
Beside, why don't you ask God yourself.
For our mind is so thin, we can only think so far.
I think if God has created us, then some of us were given an inquisitive mind as well.
Some of us don't have faith in 3rd party ideas because our faith has been shattered from other experiences in our lives.
A faith in anything (god, parents, democracy) is based on our ability to be blindly faithful... blindly meaning without a logical reason to do so.
Some of us just don't do things unless they seem logical... and hence a belief in god must be explored deeply before it is accepted.
It isn't disrespectful, it is just the way some of us are.
That being said, I firmly believe we will fail miserably in our attempts to understand why we are here.
...specifically because of exactly what you said... it is far too large a concept for our tiny minds to contemplate.
But seeking the truth with logic is just as infantile as seeking the truth through "jesus", because a religious belief is as mediocre as any other, because, well, our minds are too tiny to understand the "truth".
Whether you assume there is a god, an angry god, or jesus, they are all hacks for us to get on with our lives because we will never know the truth.

We don't know how something can exist without being created, but it's an obvious truth. If something exists, something created it, and if you follow the chain of thought all the way to the top you'll find that something with no beginning or end must be the source of all other created things.

He always Existed.
More importantly. Have you ever told a lie, stolen anything, disobeyed your parents. These are just 3 of God's moral laws. The Bible tells us that when we die, then God will judge us by His moral laws. We have all sinned and broken God's moral laws, and if you are not born-again, God will send you to Hell to be punished forever. God made a way for us to be forgiven for our Sins. Jesus Christ died on a cross and rose again to take our punishment and pay the debt for our sins. We must Repent, which means to ask God to forgive you for sinning and turn away from sin. Then put your complete Trust in Jesus Christ. Only then will you be accepted into Heaven, not because your a good person, but because you're a bad person who's been Forgiven.

God has always been. Its hard to grasp the concept with our little brains. But God created the world, the universe, the millions of stars... We're not supposed to understand everything

Only things that have a beginning need a cause. God has always been and always will be.
Isaiah 57:15
15 For thus says the High and Lofty One
Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy...
God created time, therefore he is outside of time and is not bound by it. He has always existed, so He does not need a cause. :)

What ever was the first thing that existed before the second thing was created is God.
Our minds can perfectly calibrate, monitor, measure and study time as well as space. However, imagine the boundaries of space or time, and our brains begin to go blank. When we can not even fathom the extent of space and time which we are constantly experiencing and can divide, subtract, multiply and in general experience them, how can we fathom the maker of space and time whose boundaries themselves confuse us?

Simply god was created from a good imagination and word of mouth... Just like a good company... If someone has nothing to b elieve in and something or someone gives them a reason they preach it to everyone... Real life states that over and over... I don't really believe in god but I am not athiest either... Just live my life without getting into all the hype... I believe if someone believes in something strong enough they believe it is real... This is what makes god real to people is the believe... If you ask someone who doesn't believe in god they will say he is not real...

Genesis one tells us in the beginning was God. We aren't given any more than that, we couldn't comprehend it anyway.God created everything in the universe.
