my cat is a sweetie pie to me but she tends to be a little evil.......her favorite plaything is my great dane, tortures her when she can (for being a huge dog she, strangely, fears my cat). She lays between the doorjambs sometimes because she knows Haven (dog) won't step over her so she enjoys limiting her access to the house. she waits for haven to be on her way to a certain room or area, then she'll run and flop down in front of it. So malicious.....I bet she has that maniacal laughter in her head when she torments...."MeoWahahahahahaha"

My Torti was in love with the catnip balls until one day when I crumpled up a piece of paper to throw away. She heard that and made a beeline for the wastebasket and pulled it out. She loves the "crunchy" sound it makes, plus it's light so she can bat it around all over the house, pick it up with her teeth and throw it, etc. That's become her favorite "toy."

She also likes the stretchy toys you can hang from doorknobs, and she's a fan of the fishing rod toy that chirps like a bird when you flick it.

However, she spends most of her day parked on the back of my couch looking out the window at the bird feeder I hung from the tree in my front yard. It's kitty's own "HBO" or Home Bird Observatory!

I have two black and white mixed breed cats. Sisters from the same litter. Front paws declawed and neutered. They like to go outdoors and play with chip monks, mice, moles, and birds. Real ones. They used to go crazy over little fuzzy toy mice but since they've developed a taste for little animals, they don't touch the toys anymore.

Well, Rocky my Black & White cat (some call them Tuxedo Cats) absolutly loves paper bags and cardboard boxes. Not exactly toys but he will spend hours hanging out in them and moving them around.

Axl, my grey tabby, loves all kinds of toys but his favorite are wine corks. Don't ask me why, it's crazy but he'll ignore all other toys for a cork which he'll fetch like a puppy if you throw one for him.

Of course, colorful mice toys (especially catnip ones) are popular in the house paricularly red ones for some reason.

One of my cats (a yellow tabby) loves dog food, the round pedigree variety. He'll play with that for hours. A couple of my others (1 calicoe & 1 white/orange) think little waded up pieces of paper are the best.

My cat, Xena (the Warrior Kitty, because she was a vicious kitten), loves to play with her crinkly mouse. It's like tin foil flaps or something in the shape of a mouse (it's her natural prey AND it makes noise!). I'm not sure what breed she is (we got her out of a door-to-door kitten box), but she looks like a Tortoise-Shell.

My cat Milo loves to play in paper bags and cardboard boxes. My cat Pepper loves flashlights/laser lights and plastic bags. She's always after plastic grocery bags once I get home from shopping.

Pepper also loves playing with pens.

We think my cat is a bomba-tonk (bombay and tonkanese) and he is the best! He likes to carry around small stuffed animals like mothers carry their kittens and throw them in the air. He loves the little mice made out of real fur, string, paper towels, toilet paper, and water. He loves to get in the bathtub and beg for water out of the faucet. And spilling all of mommy's cups of water to see what will happen. He is so bad, and I love him!

I have a tortoiseshell named Turtle who likes to scoot her bed across the floor and flip it over.
My brown tabby, Kira, loves to play with pens and my back scratcher--she goes nuts whenever I try to scratch my back!
My silver tabby and white boy, Simon, likes to chase the other cats around the house.
And last, my skinny gray boy, Squirrel, loves to hunt mice (I try to keep my kitties indoors, but it's hard with him). In the house he doesn't play much, but when he was a kitten he loved anything with feathers.
