Do what you want, it is your hair. Just remember, If it looks bad you can always shave it and start over.

NO! (I am brunette also... tried blonde... was a disaster from the start!!) try lightening a shade or two, but not blonde! Be happy with Nature's decision... it's the best match for your eye color and skin tone. (says the girl who uses henna dyes for a more reddish look)

It isn't entirely clear from your question if you are thinking of doing this FOR your wedding. If so, I'd avoid that. You (hopefully) only get married once, and it is always possible that if you color your hair, you, your husband, or both of you might dislike it. Best to wait until after your wedding, photographs, and so on. But aside from that, why not? Not like it is a permanent change...

Not if the wedding is soon! It totally depends on your coloring. Go to a good salon and ask which blond would look best on you and go for it! Just don't try to do it at home.

Dear ViVi,

Probably not the best thing to do right before your wedding day! Try talking to your partner about doing it first to see if it might ruin the wedding for him or if he cares at all! A hairstylist once told me that everyone should go blond at least once in their life!

Too bold for a wedding, do it after.

Get blonde highlights, make sure they foil them in (not pull your hair through a cap). My friend had this done and they put these cool chunky blonde highlights in her hair. Sooooo pretty! :) And her husband was DROOLING. He loved it! :)

Don't go total blonde. Do some streaks or frost or highlighting.

Best of all, stay your natural color.
