I just finished my first year of college and the first semester I passes all but one class. The second I had to withdraw from 3. When I looked on my college's website it said that if you fail from classes so that you only finished 67% then you get put on financial aid warning. Does that mean that I will still get finiacial aid but I need to make sure that I do well in all my classes? Does anyone know?

You are exactly right. Make sure you complete all of your classes with a C or better and everything will be fine, if you fail one of your classes you will be on financial aid termination.

Normally it means that your financial aid has been withheld and normally you have to file an appeal before you will get financial aid again. I would go and talk to my school to see what you can do. I would take some easy classes at first if you seem to be having a hard time. Usually getting your gen eds out of the way is a good way to improve your GPA since alot of those classes are fairly easy and most don't require too much homework. If that doesn't help then maybe you just aren't cut out for college.

It also means that if you aren't taking the bare minimum to qualify or if you are taking the bare minimum but fail a class, that you will lose your federal aid. I think it's 12 units/credits to be considered full time and 6 for part time but check with your school. If you go under that you might have to pay back any federal aid you received for that semester.

You should email your financial aid office to find out for sure. Sometimes you won't get aid if you aren't full time (12 credits or more) or if your GPA is under a certain number.

Just to well in school. You will regret it big time if you don't. That is a lot of money being spent.
