if he is a vetran make him use his GI BILL. if not a vetran there are several options. first apply for finical aid. they give grants to a income under a set amount. also go to the college guidence counsler. there are tons of scholoarships the school and alumni offers. i mean a ton. in fact half of them are not even used every semester, so the school gets them. most schools also have a payment plan for tution and books. just might have to swallow some pride and ur business taken care of. being poor is a not a bad thing, but wasting the opportunity to grow mentally is!! not everyone has the opportunity to learn or go to a school. so take advantage of this. where there is a will there is a way!

does he have any experience in it ??? If he is already an electrician sometimes your work will sponsor you (like apprendiceship)
Also he can go to school and the schools usually have scholarships that anyone can apply for (lots of people don't even apply and the money just sits there)
so you might pay out of your pocket but then you'd get some of the money back, chances are since he's a Dad returning to school there'd be a scholarship available

Probably not likely to get it paid for; but you can get low-interest loans, and look into a state schools (which tend to be cheaper). There may be some need-based assistance out there....whatever you do, don't ever pay for bogus leads - all the information you need is on the net.

The government has financial aid prgrams and scholarships should be available through the school he is going to. The school should have a financial aid department. Call them, they can help you.
