As a guy I can tell what I would like she will do for me. First of all it has to be a surprise. Maybe she wont tell me and when I will come home from work she will be in my apartment, cooked my fav meal, candles on the table, maybe a flower.
Then we will have dinner, maybe a movie in the tranquillity of my apartment, and then she will stay with me the whole night.
I know it sounds boring, but I will really think about that day for a long time!

Simple is always best! Sometimes when guys get overloaded with gifts it tends to turn them off slightly. A home cooked meal, extra time to play XBox or poem/note explaining how much you appreciate him is a good start!

Do something that you normally would never do but you know he would really like. i.e. watch the game with him, help him fix his car, go fishing
The key is do it for him and don't complain about it.

Love poems, not brooding love poems. Phone calls, not tortured phone calls, gifts, not inappropriate gifts. entertainment, not lavish entertainment, confessions, not soulful confessions.
