First of all, everyone who is jumping on your case here should lighten up.-read the question people she knows she screwed up-
If I were in your shoes and could not be home schooled, as you say, I would get my GED. You seem like a smart girl and shouldn't have a problem passing the test. If there is a community college near by you might consider enrolling in some college level classes this year after you earn your GED. If you can pick up a few credits it will help you down the road.
Don't look at this as a door being shut, think of it as another one opening. You might be able to turn this to your advantage and in a year, if you decide to go to college, you might be ahead of the game.
Good Luck!
When life gives you lemons make lemonade...or as my buddy Nick use to say, ask for tequila and salt. Just wait till your 21.

You can be kicked out of school permanently, particularly if you get expelled from enough local schools. Since most of the public funded home school is run through public schools, they can refuse to allow home school.
You can go to private school or private home school. Also, if you are over 16 and have a parent's permission you can take your GED equivalency test and if you pass you will get your GED. This will allow you to obtain a GED diploma which is equivalent (although sometimes less well respected) than a high school diploma. Other than that, you can look into continuation schools.
If you can motivate yourself to change your behavior and the group of people you spend your time with, show responsibility and improvement in your behavior, you may be able to convince the school board to give you another chance. However, this may take some time.
Once you have made choices to land you in a difficult place, it takes time and a series of good and often difficult choices to get yourself on the right track. (Speaking from personal experience)
However, if you work hard and weigh your future goals as you make your moment by moment choices, you can make the life you want. With your GED, you can enroll in community college or on-line college. Two years from now, you could have an associates degree and be a year ahead or your peers instead of behind.

I would suggest studying to get your GED. Start making clean choices and thinking carefully about consequences before oyu make a decision. Look into you community college for some classes to take after you get your GED, buckle down and start making choices that will give people around you a reason to trust you and give you a chance. Also, a job and accoutability for oyur spending would be a good thing. If you are still living with your parents, chip in with some of the household expenses, put at least 1/2 of what you earn in the bank and DON'T touch it.
you are on the right track admitting that you made some poor choices and seeing where you are because of it- don't use that as an excuse to continue making poor choices - the only thing you have control over is the choices you make- it will take time and be harder work for you to pull yourself back up to a respectable position but if you really want it oyu can do it- start by choosing more carefully the company you keep- don't keep hanging around people who have no interest in getting their lives together and will put you in situations that will tempt you to make poor choices. You can't change where you live but you can change who you hang around with, what places you go to, what actions you will take to improve your situation- get started!!
*an extra note- because of the various circumstances that cause people to go after a GED, having a GED is not less respected by colleges and businesses than a regular school diploma. You might want to check into it but I am pretty sure you can get your GED before you turn 18 also.

To begin with, you should begin learning on your own if you spell the word 'from' "f-o-r-m."
You'll be in your last year of school and this is how you spell?
I would be far more concerned with getting an education in my spare time than doing drugs at this point. Start going to the library. Educate yourself during your spare time and pull your head out of your ***.
The thing to do next would be to set aside time to speak with all four of these principals and inform them of your problem. Take full responsibility for your actions and don't make any excuses for them. Make an honest and heartfelt apology when beginning the conversation and resolve to do better.
I'm sure that at least one of them will accept your apology and give you an opportunity to redeem yourself if you can present yourself with dignity and show some ******* self-respect.
Wear your best clothes and get a haircut too- show some appreciation for their time and consideration.
If all of this fails do a search for a secondary school and failing this make the attempt to get a GED.
Try getting back in school BEFORE you decide to get a GED.

Yeah, the GED thing is not a bad option. I know a guy who did this, and he ended up with a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, so there's nothing wrong with this path. You will still have options. If you decide you like working, then you're all set. If you later decide that you want to go back to school, you can still do that.
So many 18 year old college students don't know what they want to do, and really shouldn't be in college yet. If you do decide to go, it'll be because you want to, and because you have a particular goal. On the other hand, if you're in a job you like, then don't even worry about it.

Straighten up!!!!!!!!!!! I was soooooooo in your shoes 20 years ago... Make the right decisions, even if it's "not cool" to your SO called friends, do what's right for you. My son who is 11 was caught at school with pot too.. My straight A student, good boy was in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people.. Wise up, look at your future, it comes much faster then you can imagine.. Stay in school go to college and get a good job.. Get off the track you're on.. I'M TELLING YOU, IT'S NOT WORTH IT... There is a time and place for fun, you're still a child even if you don't feel like you are.. Look at the losers in life and ask yourself if that's where you want to be in 20 years cause that's where your headed.. My friends have huge houses, boats, and great jobs.. It was just yesterday that we were your age... Fix it now!!!! TIME GOES BY TOO FAST!!!!!!!!!!

Is it possible to have a meeting with the school board? Sometimes you can better results if you go to them directly and let them know how serious you are about finishing school. Your past behavior can not be repeated and you must be willing to accept that change and any guidelines set in order for you to return to the school setting. Otherwise your best option may be obtaining your GED and moving forward with any further education.

Can they really not let you be homeschooled? I don't think they have the authority. If they do, go get your GED. It's fast and works as good as a high school diploma.

i would either get my GED or i would clean up my act and get yourself an attorney. i am sure that it is against the law for you to be sitting out of school. i would have your parents talk with the superintendent of the school system because they must by law offer you an alternative to finishing school no matter how much of a SCREW UP you are.
