the virgin birth was created to cover up the fact that jesus was conceived out of wedlock. which at the time would have discredited his message and he would have been just another foot note in history.

How strange. There were very many virgin myths before the Virgin Mary's. Didn't the writers of the New Testament know about those other myths??? So why did they create another? Why?
