Free-will is another contradicition of Christian mytheology.

Having fore knowledge does not necessarily means you are interfering with free will. If you see a bike without brakes going down a slope, you would know it will crash if there is a wall at the bottom of the ramp, and you will even know where it is going to hit depending on the direction and speed of the biker. Does not mean you are riding that bike.

We also should understand that there is the absolute FREE WILL, that completely belongs to the LORD AlMIGHTY ALONE and there is relative free will, which we have within HIS ABSOLUTE FREE WILL.

If the Lord would not give us our FREE WILL, we wont have it. So, really there is no contradiction. Our free will has limitations. I can jump up a few feet but not more. My free will has limitations imposed by the larger laws of the MIghty one. However, I will be questioned about the exercise of my free will only, not for what I am not capable of performing.

Ali the heir of the Prophet was asked this question by a man. Ali said can you stand on one leg. The man said yes, and did it. Ali asked now lift up your other leg!.. the man said of course if I tried that I will fall. Ali replied the FIRST was your free will, the Second was in the control of the MIGHTY ONE!!

I don't think God knows everything that will ever happen, but he sure can see everything that does happen, and he can probably bring on the end of the world or the return of Jesus.

Other then that, we do have free will....and some believe that God "has a plan" for everyone but if that is true, free will gives us the choice whether or not to follow that plan.

Free will is like this:

I can see a kid running with his shoes untied and I see the stick in the way; I yell to the kid watch out stop running or you will fall. He ignores me and he falls. Does that mean he didn't have free will because I knew that he would fall?

God can see everything before it happens but that doesn't mean he makes them happen. Sometimes you are watching a movie and you know what will happen and it does - does that mean the actors and the director didn't have free will. Because of your knowledge of watching so many movies you can see certain things before they happen right. Its something like that.

Hope you got the idea

Go pick up ANY movie. Watch it. Wait awhile. Now watch it again. You KNOW whats going to happen. Does that mean that YOU influenced it? Or decided it? Throw a ball in the air, barring flukes of nature, you know the ball will fall. Your knowledge of what will happen does not influence the ball falling does it? Just because someone knows something will happen doesn't mean that the event will be under the control of that specific person.

Because God can control himself.

Do you use all your strength to pick up a pencil? Of course you don't. God can chose what he sees and doesn't see. He is in no way forced to see things. Out of love, God choses not to see our futures. Rather he allows us time to make changes and hopes that "none will be destroyed" (2 Peter 3:9).

Deuteronomy 30:19, 20 is a fine scripture that shows that our life is not predestined, but rather the choices we make are up to us. And too, the scripture that says "what a man reaps, this he will also sow".

simply bcuz he knows what's going to happen doesn't necessarily exclude the notion of free will. each decision has several options or roads to take and it is we who choose which one to take. whether it is correct or not, it is not influenced by his knowledge of what will take place depending on which choice we take. much like you asking this question. you have an idea of the type of responses you'll get from the believers and non believers alike, but that has no effect on what will be said. even if you knew what each and every person was going to say, you do not have a direct influence on what they say. were you forcing or coercing people to say or do what you wanted them to, then free will would be nonexistent, but simply letting them go about their business, outcomes known or not, does not exclude a notion of free will.

Imagine standing on the roof a ten-story building. A parade is going to start in the street below. It forms, it begins, and it travels the parade rout length and then disperses. All this happened in your view.
This is the way OUR GOD sees us! Before our birth HE knows the complete and whole story! But HE also orchestrated our "parade rout" before we were even born. That is called PREDESTINATION. Before we were even born HE knew everything.

Dear,
it is very important that you have the feeling that you are free. Term 'freedom' by Norbert Winner means 'everybody to have equal chances'.
You are not free now. it is because society is not made by the word of God. You do not have any free will now. You are almost in prison now.
God want to give you free will.
Let me explain this to you: if you play chess you are not free to choose - you are bound by rules.
The kingdom of God will have no rules. You will have freedom to do what you want. Also, you will have wisdom and merits to do just good things.
Free will to do evil do not exist.

I don't believe we have any choices. EVERYTHING is predetermined. The good decisions & the bad decisions we make...it seems like we make them....but we dont. I believe that every word we will ever speak, every action we will ever make, everything we think from birth to death is all in the books. There are no coincidences. Our date with death is on the books the day we are conceived.

I believe that God has a plan for our lives, yet we are able to live them out however we want....free will. We are not puppets. There are different paths in our lives, and when we choose the right one, then we are living according to God's plan for us. Of course there are many many people who don't actively seek the path that God would like us to choose. At some point that may change for them.
