In II Peter 2, verses 1 and 2, it says that there are going to be teachers who mock the teaching of Jesus Christ dying for our sins. I Corinthians 15, verses 3 and 4 says Christ died for our sins, he was buried and he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. Now, if the resurrection is just symbolical, then the death must be symbolical. His death was literal. His resurrection is literal. If you don't keep the resurrection, you cannot go to heaven and that is Romans chapter 10, verses 9 and 10. You must accept the literal bodily resurrection of Christ.

Taking the bible literally, it was Sir Isaac Newton and today he's claimed by the scientists of the world to be the greatest mind scientifically to ever exist in history, said just before Christ returns, ministers will mock the idea of a literal Bible. And Sir Anderson who did the 70 weeks of Daniel 9:24 said the same thing. They will mock the literal interpretation of the Holy Word of God. Stick to it and believe what it says literally.

Fundies only believe in theories that agree with their beliefs because that's what it means to be a fundie - an extremist who refuses to see anything outside of their happy little world of fundyism.

We believe the bible is the final authority as Christians. Not everything is listed in the bible.I love to hear about science, but when it goes against the bible, I don't care to hear about that part. Gods wisdom is so far above mans. The bible says He has chosen the simple things to confound the wise.

Show me absolute proof of a scientific theory and I'll believe it.

Last time I checked a theory is something which is not proven absolutely.

Einsteins Theory of Special Relativity gave us (E=MC(2) which gave us the "Atomic Bomb". If you have doubts about this just being a "Theory" please let me know. And I can talk to my friends at JPL and maybe set up a demonstration for you LOL ;-)

Getting a little tired of all the "Believers" out there who do not know of what they speak. 8-( Get your "Facts" straight before you spew your "Biblical Babble" as if it were fact.

I agree you frequently get dumb statements like “entropy disproves evolution” showing who ever got here up with that at surprising did intense college technological expertise and in all likelihood failed, and whoever repeats it in all likelihood won't be able to make a jigsaw...... this is hostile to entropy in accordance to their dumb *** awareness. Evolution is a truth and the in basic terms position they could cover from that is of their very own stupidity.

I am one of these 'fundies' as you call them, and I agree with all SCIENTIFIC theories. It is unscientific theories that are based purely on specultation and faulty reasoning that we don't agree with.

Self-affirmation. That's all. You take the little tiny bit of evidence that can be twisted to fit your views and ignore the huge mounds of it that should tell you otherwise. Damn, can you imagine if actual science worked this way? Scary.

We reject science when it doesn't make any sense. Evolution lacks evidence and doesn't fit into the 'survival of the fittest' worldview that it sets, so I discard it as ludicrous, at least the evolution that is taught in textbooks.

Why would we agree with something that disagrees with our religion? Would you agree with something that disagrees with your beliefs? This is a lame question.
