I have a toy chihuhua (6lbs). What is the life expectancy?

Anywhere from thirteen to seventeen years with good veterinary care.

They can live quite a long time with good care. I had a sixteen year old and now have a 15 tear old. I love Chihuahuas and always have one.

The smaller the dog, the longer they live. Chihuahuas can live for 15 years or more provided you keep him/her healthy and address any dental issues. They get icky teeth or at least mine does.

Depends on how you take care of it.... but a healthy one usually lives for 12-17 years.

They tend to need alot of attention esspecially their diet after 10 years old!

My neighbors is 14 but she is no longer 6 pounds- she looks like a sausage ready to explode but she's still very cute. LOL

Short, because I hate those yapping dogs. My neighbors went...missing...shall we say? I Think it should be to Canada by now if not roadkill.
