Take it to the vet. If you are unwilling to pay this money then you shouldn't have the cat. Take it to a shelter so it can be properly cared for.

Kittens are very susecptible to upper respitory problems that can kill them. Benadryl is for allergies and without the advice of a vet I wouldn't give any drugs to the little fella.

Upper respitory infections are VERY serious for kittens.

Wipe the eye with diluted Piroxide and warm water. It has an infection in the eye. It should be seen by a vet for antibiotics for it's eye. This little purrson could easily go blind without the proper medical care.
DO NOT give an animal human medication. This can and does kill many daily. They cannot break it down to function as it does for humans.
IF you cannot or do not want to get the medical treatment the kitty needs take it to the nearest shelter and surrender it to them. They will care for it and adopt it out.

My kitten's eyes are the same way but it usually clears up in about a week or two. Clean it with a Q-tip wet with warm water, pulling the gunk away from the eye.

I hate to say it, but that kitty needs to go to the vet. It'll probably need an antibiotic. Sounds like it has a cold or some sort of viral infection. You COULD try wiping his eyes with a warm moist towel; it MIGHT help. I wouldn't try giving it any type of "human" medicine. You might end up making it worse or killing it.

It sounds like the kitten has an eye infection. I know that it's expensive to take it to the vet, but that's the best thing you can do. Medicines that work for humans can sometimes be harmful for animals. Don't risk it! Good luck!

Can't give it any meds but you could clean out his eyes and see if that's helps. Get natural tears solution- in the Contact and eyecare aisle. Has to be Natural Tears so it won't hurt him. Rinse his eye out about 2-3 times a day and see if it improves in a couple of days. If you can't take him to the vet- you might want to take him to a shelter anyways.
Good Luck.

My kitten had this a couple weeks ago. I took him to the vet and they gave me eye gel and an antibiotic called Clavamox.

He had conjunctivitis. That's probably what it is. I wouldn't give him anything until you consult your vet.

She might have an upper respirtory infection. do not give her any human produst. check with the pet store or local feed store. they might have some antibiotics for her. very treatable if taken care of NOW. If you have to take her to the vet, do not let them take advantage of you be strong and say you want to try antibiotics for a spell. NO test or blod work, that gets expensive.

I had kittens who got gunky eyes a few years back. I rinsed their eyes three times a day with warm water, then put sty medicine on them. You can get sty ointment at any drug store, Wal-Mart or Target. Their eyes cleared up in a week or two. Good luck on your kitten.

The kitten has conjunctivius. you should take it to a vet because it will spread to the other cat. You also need to treat it because sometimes it is a precursor to a worse illness.
