"Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you"
Why? Because if we follow this, all else falls into place.

Colossians 2:8, "Beware, lest anyone take you captive through vainand deceitful philosophy after the traditions of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ."
2 Corinthians 10:5, "overthrowing arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing into captiity ever thought and idea to the obedience of God."
Proverbs 3:19, "The Lord founded the earth by wisdom. He established the heavens by understanding."
I like these and others like them because they show that Christians are NOT supposed to be just blind faith, don't pay attention, stay in the Church type of people. We are supposed to know what the other side believes and be intelligent and respond to it.

I don´t accept Jesus as the figure they paint in the bible. I am not religious or have any bond with a church. But the best words used in the new testament are: In the land of my father, there is no master or slave. There is no man or woman. There is no believer or non-believer. That means everybody is the same. Why are we trying to be so different from everybody else?

Ezekiel 25:17
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
I just think it's just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherf*ker before I pop a cap in his a*s.

Proverbs - A beautiful woman without common sense is like a gold ring in a pig's nose.
It sums up the entire Bible. You can have God and have eternity. Or you can have the world and a few years.

Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God. There is something about complete quiet and prayer and the reading of God's word that allows me to have genuine fellowship with the Lord and it's in that stillness that I have learned he truly is God and when my focus and my faith stays on him - then my life stays still, even at its most hectic moments.

Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor ruling spirits, nothing now, nothing in the future, no powers, nothing above us, nothing below us, nor anything else in the whole world will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Because NOTHING CAN STAND between me and God Himself.

All of them. but I do have a favorite. Proverbs 27:11 Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, that I may make a reply to him that is taunting me. Why- Because God is wanting us to believe in him so he can tell the Devil that his children do love him. It is like God is begging us to be wise because he loves us and he wants to prove the Devil wrong.

"Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free."
~Jesus, from John 8:32
It is an ultimate goal: to find truth in all things for yourself, even in something Jesus says. It also can apply to everyone in all religions (especially if one is a Jesus-follower talking with someone of another religion.)
