I'm not employed, the most money I ever made is 8.25 dollars an hour. I quit my job because I though It wasn't worth it.
(I have BA) I'm an introvert, I can't change that.

you to try something you like... not some crappy job... look from something that interests you and you wont be an underachiever..

You are not a underachiever. You are at a place of change. Start looking through the newspaper and make a list of jobs you'd like to do and do volunteer work. When you help others it will pick up your spirits.
Now stop pouting and start feeling great because the world is your pearl now get cracking open those oysters (Opportunities).

You can change being an introvert. It is all in your mind. You have allowed yourself to settle. You may be experiencing anxiousness or depression. Check out the website below and see if any of the information applies to you. There is help out there.

Maybe your introvertness is from shyness and shyness from social anxiety.
Take some sports or karate to make you more assertive and bring out the beast in you.

Well whats the BA in? Find a career path with in which you studied. Try speaking with people in the supermarket line. That may help you step out of the shell you placed yourself in.

because you are asking people on yahoo answers why you are an underachiever when you should be asking what you can do to not be one. or you should be getting a job or something. we dont know why you are the way you are but you can change if you want to.

Because you're not doing anything about it. Get off of your lazy @$$ and achieve!!! Anybody who has anything either inherritted itbecause they were fortunate, or they worked hard for it. And stop making excuses for yourself, you know this is the truth. You got a BA for crying out loud. Thats it, any other answer is a load of bull.

Do you think you might be suffering from depression? It sounds like you might and it's something you might want to think about and look into and if you are you should try to get into a mental health clinic. With having no job right now they would probably treat you for little or no charge so it's something you should think about.

i think most underachievers don't find a passion for somthing which makes them that way, there just has been nothin to stimulate and give you that go getter push, explore and experience, see what things out there get you going and enable to achieve more.

You may have Aspergers Disorder. People with Aspergers tend to be socially inept but intellectually gifted.
