Why do some Hispanic groups feel they don't have to obey the laws of the US to get here?

There should be no issues between the US and immigrants from any country if the Immigration laws were enforced.
Anyone other than a hispanic person can take up to two year to get permission to emigrate to the US.
Most people understand this and are willing to accept it.
For some reason the majority of illegal aliens seem to be hispanic.
Is ther a reason they do not have to obey the same laws everyone else does?

It's the same reason why kids deal drugs - quick rewards with few bad consequences if any.

Why should they wait in a long line and then have to live by our rules when they can simply jump across the border and get all of the benefits with none of the responsibilities?

Why don't able-bodied people get their butts off of welfare? Same thing - it's much easier to keep taking money and contributing nothing to society. They have better food, better clothes, more toys for their kids, etc. than those who work for a low wage. Where is the incentive to work?

This country needs to stop being so weak and stand up to the people who are taking advantage of us!

I dont think they leave their homes thinking they do not have to obey the US laws. That is if they even are aware of what the US laws are. I think its more so they are so desperate to get out of where they are they will do anything including risking their lives to have possibility of an opportunity to a better life. The reason the majority of illegal immigrants are Hispanic is because of the close proximity of the Spanish countries around us.

I'm quite sure that those folks who spend thousands of dollars crossing the border in dangerous conditions do not feel "entitled" to anything.

They come here for one reason and one reason only: a better life. They have one way, and only way of achieving that better life: employers who are willing to hire them.

If you are concerned about the "wetbacks", then you need to petition your congressfolks to punish the employers heavily for hiring illegals.

However, the greatest number of illegal immigrants are not "wetbacks", they are folks that come here legally under visa, and just convienietly forget to register. Out of the 15 or so million illegal aliens here, a few million are Mexican. The rest are from everywhere else and got here under legal terms.

If you truely think that the number one problem in America is illegal aliens, then you aren't paying attention. you are being fooled by the Sigfried and Roy act that Bush and Cheney are putting on...."look at the kitty...." You are falling for their smoke and mirrors routine to keep you distracted from looking at what a shambles this administration is.

I'm Puerto Rican and I totally agree! The problem is that rich people will not get rid of them because they need nannies and housekeepers. I am very greatful that my country is a US territory and I am able to maintain dual-citizenship. EVERYONE must obey the laws.

The world revolves around them. The world owes them. They have all the rights. Others have none. Others have obligations. They have none. Others must adjust to their needs.

They need only to breath and enjoy what they feel they're entitled to for whatever reason.
