I figured I'm only working to get by, but in prison they take care of all the necessities. I'm kind of sick of work and wouldn't mind taking a 5-10 year break.
I don't want to hurt anyone and I don't want to go for life. Just enough for this bankruptcy to roll off my credit report.
Any ideas?

Just so you guys know, I'd also be using this as street cred for my rap career. I plan on going into the music industry when I get out, not the corporate world.

Well, I'd say that a prison record is going to be far worse in the long run than your bankruptcy will be. Also, prison is far from a walk in the park and I definately wouldn't consider it a good place to "take a break." This will be time that you will never get back and during this time you will have absolutely no opportunity to improve your situation. There has got to be more options for you than voluntarily going to prison? Everyone gets sick of work from time to time, my advice is to try and find a job that you enjoy doing even if it pays less. Or move to a different town, take up a new hobby, travel....Keep your options open, you never know what might be coming around the corner whereas in prison your options will be rather limited.

Prison does seem like a good idea because you're taken care of, but I wouldn't recommend it because it will be hard for you to find a decent job after you're out.

Rob a bank, that is a federal offense, good for up to 20 years without parole. By the way, dont use a loaded gun since you dont want to hurt anyone.

prisoners are there because they did something wrong and are being punished, they're not at a hotel. Inmates don't just get to sit around and do nothing while getting things handed to them, they get paid very little. They also have very little/no freedom.

If you go to prison it will be marked down and anytime you try to apply for a job they will see that and they may not hire you. Even if you didn't hurt anyone.

Prison isn't a break. Trust me... I have a friend who's been in there the past 6 years... you don't want to go!
