Stanford Hospital looks like an excellent choice for your dad.

Here's some information about prostate cancer research and treatment:

Perhaps your dad may want to consider enrolling in a clinical trial.

Best of luck for you, your dad and the rest of your family.

you want the best care? Are you planning to treat the cancer with chemo therapy? Well all I can tell you is that it is not the best care! Chemo attacks the cancer cells, but it also weakens the immune system. The immune system is made up of white blood cells and lymph nodes responsible for cracking down the code makeup of foreign cells in order to destroy them.

Right now we all have an immune system eating cancer cells (foreign cells) in our bodies. Cancer is therefore supposed to be rare - in the past it was. Today it's just another big part of the health care industry.

If you want to help your father, tell him to eat raw, nutritious fruits/veges that help strengthen his immune system. And lay off foods that stresses his body (like chicken, pork, beef, milk, sweets, and fattening foods). In eating the right foods the toxins that was built up in his body will be released by the liver and excreted when he sweats through exercising and/or go to the bathroom. And with a strong immune system the cancer growth will be attacked to the point where it will disappear.

He has to use his immune system to get rid of this foreign cell.

chemo Therapy is toxic and is not guaranteed. He has a better chance leaving it to his immune system. But he must strengthen it.

The USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center is a great start. Another great choice would be Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills (www.csmc.edu). Both have top-notch doctors and state-of-the-art care.
Best Wishes!

Well, my aunt recently passed after a long long battle with this cancer. I honestly dont know of any doctors or hostpitals as she was in ohio, but be persistent with them and don't settle for anything less than what you are asking them to do. My aunt was told she didnt have cancer and she got mixed test results...and then by the time she found out that she had it, it was already stage four. I hope you're catching it early and I wish her the best of luck...

I was treated for stage 3A endometrial cancer at UC Davis Cancer Center in Sacramento. They have an excellent oncology depatment there and if there is any question along the way they don't hesitate to send you to a specialist. I was treated with both chemo and radiation there and everyone was very nice. Highly recommended!
