Usually they will give you a sample packing list before you go. Just be sure to bring bug spray, sunscreen, soap (if they have showers), long pants, warm sleeping bag.... hun are you sure they didn't give you anything? I'll even email you a sample list if you like.
Oh, and just out of curiousity, which church?

Bring plenty of underwear, that's the one thing you don't want to run out of!. Also, don't pack too many clothes because you probably won't wear them all. It helps to pack by outfit and plan your outfit for each day, that way you're not scrambling for something to wear. Bring a book, a flashlight, towels, and some old flip flops to wear in the shower. Make a list of all the items you use as you get ready in the morning, then be sure to check that off before you leave. Also, a calling card helps in case you get home sick and want to call mom and dad!

Bring toilet paper, bug spray, 2 more changes of clothes than you think you need, a towel, your own toothbrush, shampoo & soap, flipflops to wear into the shower, a bed sheet and a flashlight.

A Bible would be good idea, but if it is a Church camp, they'll get one for you

Bring a lock and key for your suitcase and don't carry anything valuable (like money) on you. If you carry money, lock it up in your suitcase. The idea of describing the camp as "Church Camp" is bullshit simply because there are people there. That should be enough to convince you to secure your possesions.

I went to a "Church Camp" before. Got my sunglasses, my hat, and $40.00 stolen. Also lost my Cheetos to a guy who purposely cough in it to keep it for himself.

My son works at a Christian camp. The biggest thing is to be nice to the people in your cabin and don't try to act overly cool.

My son says it is hard to have fun if the kids are acting stubborn and think they are too cool to play the silly games.

Camp is silly...you may have water fights...mud fights...get your hair wet. Just play and don't stay out of the fun because you are afraid to mess up your hair.

I just brought a huge blow up moose for my son to use there. Who knows what they will do with it...but the staff thought it was very cool.

Have a good time. Try to get involved in as many different activities as you can so you have a lot of new experiences.

Don't be afraid to try new things. Camp counselors are there to help you out, and they generally won't have you do anything that is dangerous.

The two extra changes of clothes are the best suggestion yet. Take more than you think you'll need! Funny situations come up at camp that you can't predict!!

I have been only to kiddie camp when I was younger, but church camp will be the same, but with meditation and prayer time built into the hiking and craft time, enjoy, I wish I could go with you.

I dont know how long your camp is, but my 2 kids just got back from a trip with the church to chatanooga. They loved it. Just pray and keep your relationship with God good and He will make things alright for you.

Have fun. Summer camp is a lot of fun, meeting new people, swimming, trying new things, etc. Just remember to pack everything!

Have fun. You really only have one part of your life to go to camps, so you should enjoy it. Bring sunscreen, if your a person who needs it, and try to make new friends. Hope it goes well
