first cut it into two rods of 4&3 metres.then place them side by side and cut the 4mt. rod into two 2mt. rods&the 3mt rod into 2mt&1mt rods in 1 cut.place the three 2mt.rods side by side and cut them into 1 mt. rod each .3 cuts and seven 1mt.rods.

Fold it but 1/4 of it should not be folded only 3/4. IF you cut the rod that way. YOu make three cuts while cutting 6 pecies and the last section is cut with the third cut.
6 meters is folded in 3 meters . So 6meters are folded in 3 adn one side has 1 meter extra. IF you make 3 cuts you cut the 6 meters and the 1 meter.

Yeah exactly you have to fold it in half first.
Then cut from the two ends make cuts at one meter each the last piece would be a piece folded in half and equal to one meter in length
